This restaurant caters to both Chinese-American and the authentic Chinese palate, and for the most part, they do a good job. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the quality. On one night the food could be a 5 star, on another night, it might be a 2 star.
The 'family style' dinners are the best deal for your money, if you come after 830pm, there is a 20% discount.
For 2-3 people, the best deal is the a Chinese family style dinner that consists of
1. Soup (changes daily)
2. beef and Chinese greens
3. deep fried grey sole,( ask waiter to help you serve it)
4. peking pork
5. chinese fried chicken
Price is 25.00, but with 20% off after 8:30, the grand total is $20.00
You can substitute different item, but there will be a slight surcharge.
There are larger family style dinners - my suggestion is to try the first family dinner firs
If you want to eat what the Chinese people eat this would be a good starter.
There are lots of different items:
The iron plate are good and it 's a nice show, walnut shrimp is very tasty ( on the sweet side).
I don't know about the Chinese-American menu, try at your own risk. We've not ordered from that side of the menu.
Pros: Flounder, chinese style fried chicken
Cons: Food not consistant
