It's a SCHOOL - so don't expect perfection 1/14/2015

It's a beauty salon school. The students are learning their craft under the guidance of a professional instructor and hair care expert. They have spa experiences, such as facials and massages, in addition to beauty treatments for hair, skin and nails. It's a school, so don't expect to be in and out of there. And students can goof up, but they DO have someone guiding them through the experience. Overall, I can't complain. The student was a bit rough on my head, but once I let her know, she became gentler. The professional overseeing her work kept a close eye on the process. I have no complaints and am returning for services. My daughter has been there several times and taken her daughter in for haircuts and styling. If we thought they were truly horrible, we wouldn't return. I've had my hair straightened here, as well as cut. My daughter has had her hair colored several times and LOVES the spa treatments. Rudest place out there 7/4/2012

If I could rank this place a 0 stars, I would. Do not waste your time and money getting anything done there. They fried my friend's hair for a perm, the blonde instructor, who is VERY rude, told the student to keep the product on there. The product was on there for over 2 hours. The instructor is a major witch. She wouldn't apologize for it. She will even talk down to customers. I have a masters degree and can complete my job without mistakes. This woman can't even teach hair if she instructs a student to ruin someone's hair. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HAIR! Especially is that blonde witch instructor is working there, she acts superior and can't even do hair. She is very rude! I would never hire her for anything. I had a manicure and the students couldn't even place the color on the nail. It looked like my 7 years old niece did my nails. The student told me that she didn't like doing manicures and they didn't really teach how to get the color off the skin. Are you kidding me? I even k more

Passed my State Boards! 4/4/2011

Hello. My name is Michele Holder. \r I recently attended and graduated from Regency Beauty Institue here in Evansville, IN.\r This school is an AMAZING place to learn. The students are wonderful to work with and the educators, are very informative and hands on. \r Ms. Renee' is the campus manager, and let me tell you, she will help you ANY way she can. \r I graduated from the part time class this Feb. 2011. I started my job with Regis Salons, 2 days after graduation! I took my State Boards recently also, and I PASSED! \r Regency gives you an EDUCATION!!! \r They prepare you for your future.\r I had to let you all know, if you're looking for an education, knowledge, hands on experience and a fun learning enviroment, RBI should be your 1st choice!\r I know I really enjoyed it.\r Thank you all at Regency!!!!! more

You'll watch how to perform services, practice on your model and get one-on-one time with your teacher whenever you need it. You'll see inside the salon world and learn what it takes to succeed. You'll watch all sorts of salon situations — like how to get along with other stylists, manage indecisive guests, deal with two appointments at once and even calm agitated brides. Plus hair, skin, nail and makeup skills in action. It's not just students who love our Studio Luma program. Salons do, too.
