When I heard that the clinic was closing due to the costs of keeping it open during this economy i was heart broken the Dr. there was super and really loved his job. I admit that after losing him I didn't throw my heart into finding a new vet for my jack russell. Then I recieved a postcard letting me know that they were under new ownership and thought well problem solved, for now at least if I didn't like her I could always change vets. \r

Funds being tight I still didn't rush in to make an appointment but after my dog had her puppies and we found a minor infestation with fleas when the puppies were litterally days old, I found myself in need of a rx flea med that is safe for lactating mothers and when I called to explain that I was on a tight timeline because the carpets were going to be steamed and we didn't want to re-infect them she looked up in her records that my dog Dot had been there before and told me to come on down she'd have some waiting for me. I was increadibly pleased and took the time to let them know I would be back when the puppies were 6 weeks for their shots. Their treatment alone one me over but then on the first of April while I was running errands my sister called me and told me my dog was shaking really bad. I rushed home and when I saw her I wasted no time calling them. It was late in the day and they had a full roster but when I mentioned she had 5 puppies at home and she was really bad off they told me to rush over and they would squeeze me in. The vet came out of one of the exam rooms saw my then shaking and spasming dog and imediately rushed us back took a blood sample and started treating her for hypocalcimia and in doing so saved my dog's life. They were so fast, efficient, and caring I will never concider another vet as long as they are available.
