Regal Cinemas

This is a great place to enjoy a movie with your family. I took my two young kids and my wife. We loved the convenience of the location. We did not mind being charged 2.00 more because we know that they have employees that need to be paid and rent to cover. I highly recommend this place. JP more

I took my family to see Happy Feet on Wednesday November 22nd at the 7:00 PM show. The theater has a posted price of $6.00 all day Wednesdays. I was charged $8.00 per ticket. When I comfronted the manager I was told They do not discount new movies. Andrew stated that they do not post a disclaimer but that the theater does not have time to post all the disclaimers. There is no disclaimer at the box office or at their web site. I Have written to the Better Business , Citysearch, and the American Statesman. I was only over charged by $8.00 but I wonder how many others have been over charged by their techniques. Please contact the Better Busness (445-2911)if you have also had problems. Our two children (6 & 8) & I attended a showing of Fantastic 4 There was a pre-movie show which included a preview called 40 Year Old Virgin, in it were comments of graphic sexual content. F4 is rated PG-13, however, we did not expect to explain the topics covered. There was a warning-ALTHOUGH-I am puzzled by the purpose. What is expected of parents? After finding seats-squeezing past others to get to them. Is the response to the warning for us to get up, climb back over everybody and sprint out of the theatre with our children in the 5 seconds given so they are not assaulted by this contentwhich Regal admits is not suitable for themhence the warning. Bottom line-at home, we, at least, have the option to turn something like this off. Unfortunately, this is not 'reasonable' in the case of a theatre for reasons outlined above. more
