I have never had a bad viewing experience at Green Hills 16. It's clean, well-maintained; the workers are polite and helpful. They usually save one or two screens for independent films, so this is the first place I check for movies that aren't showing anywhere else in Nashville.
They support the local film community by letting the Nashville Independent Film Festival use the whole bottom floor of the theatre for an entire week each year. It is the perfect location for the festival and it's very generous of the theatre management to provide a venue.
My one complaint is the ticket line. It is often a 15- or 20-minute wait. They have eight ticket windows, but usually there are only two cashiers on duty.
