Reflections By Sissy & Co

I started going to Reflections by Sissy about six years ago for a color correction. I have been a satisfied costumer ever since! I leave feeling like a new person. My hair has never looked and felt better! They are very professional and I have never been disappointed. more

Here is my letter to GOLWELL!\r I amVERY UPSET with the service I received from a stylist you have listed for service in Panama City florida "reflections by sissy". I had been going to Kayla Vitko in Plano Texas and she is an amazing gold well stylist. She recommended I find a Goldwell specialist when I got here to Florida. I drove 50 miles because there were no Goldwell specialists in the Destin area. I went to Sissy and she seemed to know what she was talking about but did not have a clue what she was doing. My hair was 7nbg with highlights… I gave her the formula that my previous stylist used and she insisted that the new product you had "numay" or something like that would be better and richer color… I was pretty reluctant but she did convince me. She proceeded and put this color all over my head making my hair a dark brown with red undertones … I was mortified at that point and she said not to worry she would be putting heavy highlights in it! why did she not just do highligh more

Then she put a cap on me and started pulling my hair thru these little holes and it hurt a lot. needless to say my hair came out orange and chunks all over… I paid her as I should and left there crying hysterical 50 miles back home! \r The moral of this whole thing is as a Goldwell provider maybe you should reconsider who you list as professionals on your website as PROFESSIONALS. I had to pay another 200.00 to have it fixed and could only do a little to keep from getting damage. Oh also I told her I just wanted a trim and she insisted i needed my ends all over trimmed and now I have a bob in the middle of my hair that looks like a bad layer!! more

I have known Sissy for seven years. I met her when I was referred by a friend because I was in need of corrective coloring. Sissy corrected the color and has grown my hair out to be healthier than it has ever been. A couple of years ago, I decided to have Sissy apply permanent make-up and have been so very happy with the results. Yesterday, Sissy colored and cut my hair into a new style; I went to work this morning feeling like a new person. more

Sissy and her staff are very well educated when it comes to color and cutting they will help you find the right color for your skin tone and the right style for your facial shape. I thought my hair color couldn't look any better when I came to her for just a touch up application on my roots. I was wrong when Sissy got done with me my hair looked amazing I have always had my hair professionally done but could never get what I wanted and Sissy gave that to me I am a beautiful golden blonde instead of ash blonde which did not look good on my skin tone and until the change I had never paid attention nor did any of my previous stylist say anything to me they always did what I asked them to do. What do I know I'm not the professional I wanted someone to help me decide what I needed. And that is what I got at Reflections by Sissy. I am so glad I found them! I have traveled all over and I have had my hair done in small towns and large cities and my hair has never looked this good!!! more

New to the area, I was told by my previous colorist to find a Goldwell salon. I found Sissy on an internet search and wished now I had read other reviews that I now find on other sites. I had my color formula and only needed roots touched up. She, with all her schooling, made me feel as though what my previous colorist had done was wrong and she would only work on me if she got me down to a fresh base color to start all over.\r After 5 hours of being cold (from sitting with wet hair), poked through the cap, and pulled whenever she brushed my hair, I ended up walking out of there almost in tears as a brunette with cheap looking frosted highlights and some chunky goldish streaks. I went in as a beautiful blonde only needing a touch-up. After what she charged me, I now have to hide my head until I can make enough money to find someone else that can fix her mess.\r I do some modeling and now I won't go in front of a camera until I can get this fixed. Sissy is absolutely the best when it comes to chemical processes. She keeps herself schooled in the latest techniques, so she's very talented with her cuts too. She travels a lot to learn and to teach new cuts and chemical treatments, so she's very respected in her industry. Her shop is located on the curve in St. Andrews, so it's easy to get to. She remodeled and has a nice little boutique inside her shop. She's always had jewelry and clothing, but she's just added a lot to that. I would recommend her if you have a problem cut that needs fixing, or a difficult chemical process. SHe's a lot more expensive than most other hair salons in Panama City. She also does permanent cosmetics, and she's very good at that too. I had my eyeliner and lips done. more
