I am permanently disabled and use a wheelchair 90% of the time. I had to stay in a shelter locally and this old wheelchair was donated to me. It is old but fits me perfectly. Unfortunately, the wheels were getting looser and looser so that I feared the wheel would drop off while I was in it. I had a friend tighten it but that didn't last and I feared I was in for a very expensive repair. My chair repair is not covered by insurance because it was donated. I called all around Santa Rosa area trying to get help. Nobody would even offer to look at it. Finally a nurse referred me to REMS. They took the chair the same day and worked hard to repair it. I bearings were ruined and completely stuck inside. Soon I got a call saying it was all fixed. I returned the loaner chair they gave me for free and picked up my securely repaired and safe chair. The whole company was very kind and understanding. I was treated with respect and the price was extremely reasonable. I will tell anyone to go to REMS first, everytime!
