Sorry to say that we had a terrible experience on our last visit to Red's. To be fair, we'd been there twice before and the food/service was pretty good (I'd rate it a ""7""). This visit was almost in the negative numbers. The restaurant did not seem to be very crowded when we arrived, but we were seated at the last open booth in the bar area. It was very loud. Our waiter must have been the only one in the restaurant; we caught glimpses of him scurrying by our table a dozen times, but he rarely stopped. After I made a comment about how long we had been ready to order (it's a one-page menu), he became rude. When our food finally arrived, it was slapped down on the table without a single word. I asked for ketchup, as 3 of us had fries. About 10 minutes later, I received one small cup of ketchup. However, ketchup was the least of our worries. Our daughters' hamburgers were cooked to the consistency of charcoal briquettes. The girls were starving by this time, but the burgers were inedible. Our waiter was summoned; we were told that new burgers would be ready in 6 minutes. By the time my husband and I had finished eating, the burgers still weren't out (""just a couple more minutes""). We asked for the check at this point. The manager came to our table, apologized and said they were unexpectedly busy that night, and stated that he would take care of our meal. Apparently he didn't communicate this to our waiter, who appeared not 30 seconds later with our check. Sorry, Red's Patio Grill, but we won't be back.
