I cannot believe the last review. My family, my friends, and my boyfriend have loved this resturant since they opened. I have dinner here at least once a month. We have always had a beautiful dining experience. A few days ago when my boyfriend was entertaining his out-of-town family here, the restaurant had two new gourmet soup specials, a new halibut dish, and one of the desserts was a unique crem brule trio - apple caramel, strawberry chocolate and cherry passion fruit. It was highly recommended by a young couple nearby and could be shared by everyone at the table. The resto has also added optional wine flights to go with each meal - you get tastings of three different wines for $9, $10, or $12 depending on the selection you choose. They also have wine by the glass as well as full bottles, but I enjoy the variety. Last year, we watched the July 4 fireworks from here and it was the best view in Redondo plus the dinner before was great. This is my favorite special occasion restaurant - small dining space, fabulous view, great food. It's not a noisy fish or steak house. Please don't come here in case that's what you are looking for. Nothing wrong with those establishments, but this is not one of those. And the price for what you get here is very moderate for the quality you receive.
Pros: Ambience, cuisine, unpretentious dress- casual or dressy, friendly service, unusual dishes.
Cons: Entrance a little difficult to find.
