Red Roof Inn Chicago - Lansing

The Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating at the front desk. This hotel is very close to my job and sometimes after work i just want to go to sleep and rest, especially when i close that night and have to open the next morning. The prices are reasonable and the rooms are pretty nice. bathrooms are extremely clean which is a huge plus for me and I feel comfortable staying here almost every weekend. I save gas and over 3 hours of commute time from and to work while i stay here. Which also contributes to saving gas and milage on my car, another huge plus for me. I really enjoy my stay here everytime!!! they give extra pillows which is totally awesome!!! more

we are traveling from bejing to Chicago , found this place very close to Chicago without traffic its only 30 mins away from downtown this is what we were looking for . when we arrived front desk manager salma was welcoming and has can do attitude , help us out through directions to downtown and local restaurants . housekeeping service was outstanding . please whoever reading this review its one of the honest review more

I spent my birthday weekend at the Red Roof Inn in Lansing and it was great!\r Not only did the front desk clerk recognize it was my birthday she made sure she gave me one of their newly remodeled rooms. The bed was very comfortable. Even when i went to the lobby after hours to get coffee the young man that was working was also very polite. My entire stay was great and i really enjoyed my birthday weekend. You will see me again. more

The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the price was very low. Can't ask for much more for a last minute check in and a one night stop. Some of the other motels in the area are more run down but this place seems to be under fresh management and some updates had been done. more

I rented several rooms for an MSU Alumnus event, the Hotel Manager went out of her way to accommodate my guests and made the event an overwhelming success. i will be staying at this facility anytime i visit East Lansing. more

Great room great price great service and location. Who knew they would have a tailgate party in the parking lot? I would recommend this location for any visiting fan who is coming to East Lansing for a game against Michigan State because they do this for every home game as far as I understand. more

I stayed at this Red Roof Inn for two weeks while visiting family. The check inn process was very quick and easy. The room was very, very clean. I was very pleased with the room. I called ahead and asked if they had any weekly rates due to the length of time I would be staying, and they said they offer those sometimes during the year and I was able to secure one. My room was cleaned every day with the beds made and fresh towels. Very happy with the staff and feel that for the price, it is a deal. I only have two complaints. One, would be that the parking was pretty limited as they constantly had semi trucks parked right infront of the rooms. But, for the room I had, I could deal with that. Also, I saw someone smoking a joint outside one of the rooms. However, I wouldn't necessarily say that was the hotels fault, so I'm not marking them down for that. Overall, I was very pleased and plan to stay again! more

We have stayed at this location many times over the years, and they never disappoint. The people are great and go out of the way to make you feel like family. The guests are the same way, everyone is so friendly! Room is cheap and clean! more

Easy check-in and -out, with friendly people at the desk both times. Everything worked and was clean, although basic. Doors open right into parking area/balcony. Lots of working people staying there, so the lot was full of trucks and big rigs. Will stay there again on my next trip to Lansing. more

I've been staying at this location regularly for years, they've gone through many renovations over the years to keep the rooms looking nice. But the main reason I continue to stay is the staff, they are all great people who are always willing to help! more

This was my first experience staying at a Red Roof Inn, and I was pleased. It is conveniently located off the interstate, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly. The only drawback was the noise at night, as the rooms open out into the parking lot. Between room noise wasn't noticeable. I would stay at this motel again. more

I stayed here for 2 1/2 months while working on the BP project. The staff are all great, especially manager Ava and housekeeper Gail. The hotel was clean and the staff was always on top of any needs. As other reviews said the a/c was a little noisy but it didn't bother me. I worked nights and never was woke up by any oudoor racket even during the day. The only downside was that the area seemed a little sketchy. I never experienced any problems on the hotel property, but I didn't feel comfortable exploring very much of the neighborhood, however there are plenty of resteraunts and shopping within a few miles where I felt more comfortable. Overal I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. more

Its a convenient location with great amenities and very affordable with a very friendly staff :-) I loved the twenty four hour free coffee.My room was very clean and it came with a microwave and fridge. I was very impressed and would definately tell family and friends.The room was also decorated very nice. more

I recently came to the RRI and my stay was wonderful. Firstly when I checked in Mike greeted me ""welcome to the rri how may i assist you"" which was an 10. Mike by far was my favorite got me in and out, Ava the manager was so professional i couldn't believe this was a red roof by far it has to be the best one. Although when i finally noticed i had no bathing towels i called brenda and she informed me i had to wait until maids came. She was kinda rude but still my stay was not ruined because by that time bina accommodated my stay and gave me fresh towels. And the maids here are so friendly especially latoya or latanya? She was by far the best maid. I will be back! more

Rooms seemed to be clean. Service was good. would recommend as a cheap alternative spot. more
