Red Onion is a local Italian restaurant in South Windsor and is great for take out or dine-in. My favorite is their pizza which I often take-out. Dining in is also a great experience, they feature a decent menu and reasonable prices. Good family environment, friendly staff and very close by if you don't want to venture into the often congested Manchester area. more

Quality Food, Quality Prices 8/16/2005

I personally love Red Onion's Pizzaria in South Windsor, CT. It is a quality restaurant that offers great food at affordable prices. My personal favorite is their BBQ chicken pizza which always leaves me wanting more - its almoast addicting. Theres also a wide selection of Grinders and Pasta dishes. Unfortunately at times, the service at this restaurant can be just a little bit slow. However, I think that you will find after one visit that it was well worth your while. more
