Red Koi Thai & Sushi Lounge

I personally love sushi but my boyfriend does not. He was able to choose from many different steak and chicken items! Personally, if you like sushi get pretty much any roll and if you want to drink get the Ty Ku sake. You will loveee it. more

I tend to go to Red Koi for late lunches. I love to sit down and just relax after a long day with some delicious sushi and tea. Yesterday I went with a colleague and got an avacodo salad with yum tom soup. it was perfect. She got this sake drink with fresh cucumber. Since it was Tyku she drank it chilled. I had to pass on my normal tea to try it. Pros: great sushi and cocktails more

On a recent Saturday night my wife and her mother tried Red Koi. Unlike most Miami-ites, we like to eat dinner before 10 pm, and arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 to find it mostly empty. As the night was cool and there were no smokers at the patio tables in front of the restaurant, we chose to dine outside.\r \r The waiter arrived and took our drink orders, including a dirty martini ordered by my mother-in-law. Service was mostly attentive (although became a little slower towards the end of the meal as the restaurant filled).\r Although she enjoyed her drink for $10 I expected to see a more martini in the glass . . .\r \r We opted for the appetizer platter, which was a good size for three, and tasty. My wife ordered the Red Koi Beef Special, I went with a chicken thai curry dish, and mom-in-law the beef thai curry. Everything was wonderful except for my chicken. The sauce was delicious, but the chicken breast was drier than sand paper. Seems like it had been stewing in the sauce for hours, instead of cooked to order. Despite that error, we enjoyed the meal.\r \r The prices were resonable (except for the liquor, seriously $10 for one martini?!). We will definitely return, and hope the chicken has more life next time . . . more

By far the best sushi restAurant I been to.. The food, service, and the atmosphere amazing. TRhere is a lounge up stairs.. It gets really good lounge opens 10-2am I think is only weekend but nit sure.. more
