Red Iron Kennels

We have had 2 labs trained by Bill and Doug, and we kennel our 3 dogs there regularly. They are wonderful guys and take excellent care of our dogs. We worry about plenty of things when we go out of town, but when we leave our dogs at Red Iron, our dogs' care and safety is never something we worry about. Bill and Doug preform miracles! They took our stubborn, wild Chesapeake Retriever and turned him into a well behaved obedient dog (14 years ago). Subsequently, we have had another lab trained by Bill and have recommended them to friends over the years, all whom have also had great experiences with kenneling or training. They have great prices and are are just great guys! Any future dog we have will be trained out there! They also do bird hunting training! We came in with our dog to be kennelled (last minute over Thanksgiving) and not only did they have room, they immediately recognized his breed (Dogo...everyone thinks he's some weird hybrid Pitt but these folks knew exactly what he was), they had kennels with tops so he couldn't climb out, and they made sure he was comfy before we left. We've boarded several more times and are always pleased. They take amazing care, have great prices, and we're looking forward to using their training for our sweet, HYPER, loveable dog! We took our ""problem"" dog, Fred, out to Red Iron for training after 2 other trainers tried and failed. We had reached a limit and it was necessary to do something so we could have a more peaceful life and wanted our dog to be happier. Bill instantly knew he could help us and our dog; he worked with Fred for weeks and also took the time to train us how to work with him and set the proper expectations from him so we could all be happy. It has been a year now and life is much better. Fred knows his place in the family and by using Bill?s techniques we are able to control his behavior and know how to handle problem situations. Thank you Bill! I would recommend Red Iron for not only problem dog training, but we also witnessed bird dog training and have used them for kennel services when we go out of town.
