So glad we found Dr. Meining! 11/9/2012

We just moved into the area from out of state. We heard great things about Dr. Meining and her staff, so we decided to check it out with our cats. The folks at Red Cedar exceeded our expectations. Our visit started off on the right foot when Emily, the receptionist, was very pleasant on the phone and helped make an appointment that would work with our schedule. When we arrived, Dr. Meining were informative and caring, and was very patient will all of our questions. Jordan and Bretton (the techs) did a great job getting the lab samples we needed, and we learned so much about cat health and behavior. We will definitely continue bringing our pets to the crew at Red Cedar Animal Hospital. more

Red Cedar Animal Hospital is the best! 11/8/2012

Bebe and Mary - you couldn't be more wrong! I have been going to Red Cedar Animal Hospital since they first opened several years ago. Dr. Meining and her staff are amazing and treat my dog (Frankie,) my cat (Millie,) and myself like family. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else and suggest Red Cedar to anyone who wants excellent care for their pet. more

My dogs love to go see Dr. Meining. Lots of cookies and attention. We love that Dr Meining listens to us and is willing to use both medications and alternative treatments like supplements, therapy laser and veterinary orthopedic manuipulation. Also like that they stay up to date with new technology like digital xrays, both regular and dental. The staff are great. Always friendly and willing to go the extra step to make sure we are happy. more

My dogs and cat mean the world to me, and we LOVE the care we receive from the team at Red Cedar. In fact, I often just take my dogs there when they don't have appointments just because they want to visit. They are not the cheapest in town, but that is not what I am looking for. I have chosen Red Cedar Animal Hospital for my pets because they are knowledeable, caring, and understand the bond I have with my pets. I know that they truly care about all five of my pets and their unique medical needs. Their team also does little things that make me smile - birthday cards for my pets, a special goody here or there, or an e-mail to help me remember important dates.\r For pet parents who want the best for your cats and dogs, make sure to take them to Red Cedar. more

Too expensive, too full of themselves 11/10/2010

Well, these people love animals and are very knowledgeable, no question. But I agree with previous reviewer -- very expensive and order every test and procedure in the book unless you put your foot down very firmly. It cost me over $1000 to find out my dog was dying, and even then they would not even DISCUSS the possibility of euthanasia with me, just wanted more tests and procedures. Tried to make me feel bad that I wasn't willing to keep throwing (my) money at a hopeless situation. I don't know why I stayed with them for so long and am looking for a new vet for my new pets. more

Just say no! 10/21/2010

DO NOT take your animal here. Everyone there is more concerned about making money than about the care of your pet. They advised me to have my 11 yr old dog get her leg amputated after being diagnosed with cancer and was not willing to discuss much else. The biggest seller for me to take my dog to another vet was when after finding out my dog had cancer they tried to push me into getting a $600 cleaning for her teeth. Really???? They said it would make her feel better, yeah like that cures cancer. Take your animal somewhere else, you'll be better off. more
