Red Cap Plumbing & Air

Installer "Junior" was called to repair the main water shutoff valve to the house. My wife and i had been discussing the need for a water softening system (very hard water in our area). Junior determined that repair of the valve would require damaging the foundation (it was originally installed too close by the builder). He came up with an alternative method for a shutoff valve - one that would be part of, and work perfectly with, a water softener and filtration system. After review of the Halo 5 system he recommended, he set about the task - on a miserably hot and humid day. He worked for 5 hours under miserable conditions, and did the job beautifully. Although the system's brochures say improvement would not be noticed for up to 2 days, it was immediately apparent, and has improved. We love it. Good work by Juan C. Today I had my annual inspection. James H. greeted me with professionalism and hospitality. Of course, he was in his Red Cap attire, including those stylish red 'shoes'. He asked if we had any concerns and then checked our pipes and fixtures for any hazards. We decided the outside nozzles needed replacing. They were rusted and very hard to turn. He did a great job replacing them and was very knowledgable. He was very nice and I recommend James and Red Cap plumbing to anyone needing plumbing services. more
