The thought of going to a Gastroenterologist made me feel a bit "UGH". Thinking of tubes and cameras going in and out of different places made me cringe, but stomach pain made me cave. I decided to go to Dr. Gregory Heyt, at Red Bank Gastro. Assoc. Well, what a pleasant experience, and this is coming from someone who hates doctors and avoids them at all cost.
The waiting room was so huge, there were plenty of seats for everyone waiting. I even had my 2 kids with me. The staff was very nice and accomodating. I waited for all of about 5 minues before being seen. The nurse who did my BP, etc. was so sweet
Dr. Heyt was great. He has an awesome bedside manner and was genuinely concerned about how I was feeling. He ordered a thorough blood workup to try to determine if I do have Celiac's as well as Thyroid probs, etc. He took his time and did not rush, asking questions, etc...
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
