I was moving so I brought a lot of expensive, couture clothing and shoes into the store. I was basically attacked by 3 sales ladies all "oohhing" at my clothes and actually trying the items on while I was standing there waiting for an itemized list. I was told that the clothes were very fashionable and couture and that they would sell quickly. However, I went back 4 weeks later, expecting a check. However, no check and furthermore, I could not find one of the items I brought into the store. Where did it all go? Upset and tired of waiting for someone to help, I left in the hopes that perhaps they were in the back and just putting items out a little at a time. I called back after the alloted 90 days to be informed that I got a whopping check for $35.00. (By the way, the clothes I brought in were new,or almost new, some with tags on and probably worth over $3,000). I read the reviews before I went in (they were not kind) and should have followed.my instincts. With that being said, beware and be forwarned that the Red Balloon convienently will keep your clothes past the 90 days and you will have no way of knowing if it sold or not. I am certain my clothes did not go to charity but instead to the owners personal closet.Shame on you.
