Sheri Dempsey, MPT
Owner and practicing Physical Therapist
Sheri received her master's degree in physical therapy from University of Southern California in 1996 and a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University in 1993. Sheri began her career interning in New York City at Performing Arts Physical Therapy providing care for performers on Broadway. Sheri then strengthened her medical background by working at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY in acute and outpatient care for two years.
As her personal life brought her to South Jersey in 1998, she began working for Heartland Rehabilitation Services in the Kennedy Hospital System in acute, transitional, and outpatient care. It was at this time, that she began a working relationship with the owners of Future Fitness (then known as Planet Fitness), as the Kennedy Health System recognized the need for physical therapy services in the fitness club community and Sheri began providing physical therapy services at Future Fitness in Turnersville. Not getting caught up in large corporate philosophies, Sheri developed Rebound Physical Therapy in 2001 as Kennedy and Heartland decided to withdraw from Future Fitness. Believing in Future Fitness's commitment to health and wellness for the community, Sheri has expanded into two locations and may have many more planned in the future. Rebound Physical Therapy,P.C. was created in 2001 and has grown to two facilities located inside Future Fitness Centers in Turnersville and Mt. Laurel,New Jersey.
Physical therapy at Rebound PT in Future Fitness is a unique outpatient facility due to the wide variety of rehabilitation equipment available including a large size athletic pool and heated whirlpool Jacuzzi for Aquatic Therapy. The facility also includes 11 lines of toning/strengthening equipment,80 cardiovascular machines and 2,500 pounds of free weights.

Rebound Physical Therapy was founded by owner Sheri Dempsey,who got frustrated by large corporation physical therapy clinics and hospitals who began to lose sight of the fact that the patient's health is the main goal. Rebound Physical Therapy prides itself on providing personalized,"hands-on" physical therapy care in a private facility.
