Been going to doc as long as I can remember, we love him and are very pleased. Sadly we had our cat pass around 10 this evening now waiting to take him in to get cremated. But we have 4 dogs and all but one is fixed and he and his staff have been awesome. I even had my doby's ears and tail done there and they did such a wonderful job. I recommend them to everyone. Brought my cat to the doctor when she was sick and I had her put down. A couple weeks later I received the sweetest sympathy card in the mail from the office. A small courtesy that made a big difference in my time of mourning, thank you :) recommending to all my friends more

I have had all good experiences with the prices, staff, the new Dr., and all the care with all of our dogs and cats. I drive all the way out from Fenton because I am so happy with this Veternarian. more

After all the negativity, we recently made another housecall to treat her animals. Amazingly, we must not be that bad! Her complaints are, as usual, expressed in half-truths. Her quoted price was indeed the price she was charged. The extra was for the optional work she selected on the options page where prices are clearly listed; in this case lab work and pain meds for each of two dogs. When she made the appointment she was given the base price and told options will raise that price. Additionally, her poor dog's eyes had been neglected for so long, surgery was necessitated at the time of spays. We called her at home to get the approval for the eye surgeries. She was quoted for, signed the forms, charged accordingly and is now whining about it, when it was her neglect that caused the bill to be higher in the first place. I have 2 dogs and I treat them the same way I do my kids. When I first came to the clinic, I had heard great things because the old doctor who was Dr. Reabe was great and gentle with our animals! The sad thing is Dr. Reabe is no longer at this office, and it's another doctor who is nothing like him. I took my dogs in to have a surgical procedure and was told it would be $151.00 out the door. I was happy and content with that price. Then I was told if I added another procedure it would come to $250.00 so I said ok lets do it. I go to pick up my dogs and she told me the grand total would be $415.00!!!! I said what!!!!! They said they didn't add the prices into the sheet and it must have been a mistake. I was so upset but paid it because what could I do? I had two puppies in pain and a bill in front of me for over $160 more then quoted. So when I got home I noticed my dogs eye was slowly getting red and swollen. 2 days later I called them and said why is this happening and they told me they forgot to send me home with eye medicine drops that cost an additional $15!!! Please do not go to this clinic if you are worried about your animals health or if you are on any kind of a budget. The staff is rude and nothing like it used to be. My whole family has seen Dr. Reabe for over 20 years and I'm sad to say we will never return again. I have the sheet of prices save if anyone wants to see how they will quote one price and surprise you with another. I am a big on reading reviews so i can find the best things for my family and I usually only leave views if I am happy with something, but I'm sad to say this review had to be left at the expense of my two little puppies.
