We had a great agent who originally stated he was both a buyers and a seller's agent, and he was willing to be a buyers agent for us. He was very prompt in showing us houses, and he had good input on the quality of hte houses we saw. The problem came when we were interested in a house also listed with his agency although he was not the agent. At that point he could no longer be a buyers agent. We ended up buying the house, but I know we could ahve gotten a beter deal with a buyer's agent. more
