Rc's Pizza

The best NY/NJ style pizza this side of the Mississippi, the food is great, I mention this place to all people I meet from NY/NJ. The boss and staff are very friendly and pay attention to detail and taste, everything is homemade from scatch: douch, sauce, bread, pasta, salads, desserts, everything. The pizza and subs blow all the chain restaurants out of the water. It's a bit of a drive for some folks, but the food is well worth it. ENJOY! more

I tried this place based on a suggestion of a buddy from Brooklyn. Then I Googled it and found these reviews. I don't think that lady CarolSue ate at the same RC'S Pizza the rest of us ate at, b/c if she's ever been to NY, then she would know that's identical to back home and appreciate it and never compare it to a country pizza place like Pizza and Movies on the go. Sounds like a dig at one business and a plug for another business while publicly tearing one apart hidden behind a computer screen. That's just my thoughts. Pros: Great food, authentic to New York. Hands down the best pie! Cons: Not enough locations. more

My friends had been telling me about RC'S Pizza for a while, so today when I passed it up on my way home from town, I decide to turn around and stop to give it a try. I was not dissapointed. I lived in Queens, NY for 22 of my 34 years of life.When I moved to Texas I never thought I would find good pizza. But, I found this little out of the way, stuck out in the middle of the sticks pizzeria that a buddy was always bragging about. I got sick of hearing this guy jabbering about it so I went to find it. It was perfect. This guy RC has it down like Gino out there at Gino's in Queens. This is the best pie I have had outside of New York in the past 12 years. Keep your eye on this guy. If you get the chance, try it. It's worth the trip. Believe me this guy he's got it. I live in Spring and I drive out to his place now whenever I want a pie. I probably pass 5-7 pizzerias on my way.
