Wow, I am amazed about how happy my smile can make me. In the beginning i was a bit shy to smile with my braces. But after a while they grew on my and i saw my teeth being as they are meant to be. When i did get my Braces of i was the happiest man on earth. I smile all the time. Its because of the staff that i am happy to come back. I thank everyone at Buffalo grove staff. Thanks my smile will be contagious for ever more

I went to this doctor to have my smile fixed. At first I was treated by his assistant, who put braces on me without offering any alternatives such as expansion, IPR, surgery, etc which I would have FINANCED had it been recommended. I wanted to keep all of my teeth. The braces pushed my bottom teeth forward. Dr Yan then took over and ordered extractions. I didn't want them but he sounded promising. He told me it would not affect my facial features at all. Bullsh*t. As soon as I had them pulled, face shrank, TMJ came back with a vengance and I am in chronic pain. Not to mention a dented left cheek. He planned on shoving my 6 teeth back into my head which another doctor told me would be ""too far back"". Oh and one weekend day when I called his 911 number he as rude as hell to me. I put my face teeth and trust into him and he messed me up. Everybody sees my cheek. Everybody knows I am in pain. I might have a little respect for the man if he offered to rectify the problem, but he sent me out the door to another doctor. If I would have known this in the past, I would have booked out of his office real quick. Now I have to have reconstruction done with bone grafting, that's gonna be fun. Pros: Nice office, ok staff Cons: My face is ruined. more

RUDE STAFF! Filthy bathrooms and disgusting waiting rooms. Clinic is overbooked and the assistants do all the work. The doctor has the worst front desk staff and both his offices are so unorganized. Most of his staff members are un-kept and have horrible teeth themselves. His billing department is one of the worst I have ever seen and I wonder how this office has stayed in business as long as it has. I can't wait for my son to finish his treatment and it's a darn shame I have paid him in full. Nice guy but not a doctor you want to spend over 2 years with!
