Killer Food!! 1/16/2003

Excellent food....from the fish to the pork to the beef..all around great food. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The appetizers are wonderfull, the salads delightful, the ambience art deco wonderland, and the steaks to die for. Be prepared to dig in you wallet if you do the wine, appetizer, salad, entree thing...this an a la carte heaven and will tag your dead benjamin's hard! But when it's all said and done you'll be back for more. Jazz bar here on the weekends is great. Pros: patio, great food, music Cons: cigar bar, al a carte menu more

The food is overpriced. The times I've been there my steak had to be returned because it was undercooked. The only pro for the restaurant is when they had a buffet. Pros: Good Parking Cons: Expensive, Poor food quality, Poor Service more

The surroundings were lovely. That is about all the good I have to say. The server we had was arrogant and slow. He failed to expand the menu choices adequately and when it was mentioned, he was put out that we shoould question his expanation. The food was very average... vegetables were luke warm; meat was overdone and not favorful at all. It was an experience that I will not ever have again. If you enjoy a great steak make sure that you order one here without the ""marinade"". It completely destroys the taste of the meat. It was hard to tell what you were eating...but I can assure you it didn't taste at all like steak. Overrated steak house. Bar area very noisy, service was good. more

Way over priced and not that great 11/11/2002

This place was way over priced for the steak I recieved. I ordered the Ribeye and it was overcooked. Not even half as good as Stoney River down the street and they wanted to charge like they were Bones. Save yourself the money, eat a waffle house steak instead. more

This place stinks. We have been there 4 times just to make sure that we had not missed something, we did not!!!! The service was very very slow every time and the food was just so-so, for the $$$. Incredible 8/22/2002

2 years running, our company christmas party has been in the dining room with fireplace and doors to patio for smokers. Service, food, everything has been incredible. The events coordinator and wait staff are extremely cooperative and helpful with our special requests. more

classy and casual 8/7/2002

My wife and I just moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was one of the first places we stopped to eat with the in-laws. We were all impressed with the atmosphere and food. The steaks were done to perfection and the sides were great. The crab cakes while pricey (10.50 for one) were probably the best I've ever had, light and full of flavor. The server was very professional and friendly. Later we realized we had missed one of the best parts of waiting in line for a seat. The view of the nature preserve wetlands from the bar! All in all a very pleasant experience. We look forward to going back. more
