Ray's OK Service has knowledgeable techs that service my vehicle. When I drop my car off, I know the service will be professional. In addition, I have developed a trust with the staff that I do not sense with other service stations or dealerships for that matter. more

How to cover up your mistakes 11/12/2014

Took my car in for a trouble code P0171 lean fuel mixture which I know was the only code from my scan tool. He asked what symptoms I had. Told him the car was running rough and hesitating. I dropped the car off to have them look at it. They called me and said it would cost $430 for egr valve. I told him that I would call him back. He said hang on and came back with (I was looking at the wrong numbers it's $330) so I paid the bill and drove off. Taking off from the first stop it hesitated. Went back a few days later explained the problem. He said no time today we can make a appointment for you. I said , I'll get back to you. Went home and plugged in my scanner. Pulled a code P0301 no. 1 cyl. misfire which was not in there before. I carefully pulled plug wire no.hillips 1 off and found the boot broken inside the head. I'm the only one to work on this car in till now. I installed new plug wire car runs great. they need to fess up when they mess up. more

Good results and good service 11/4/2014

I have been going to Ray's OK Services Inc. for quite a few years now. I usually get my oil changed with them, and sometimes more serious repairs. I always have good results with them. They have always taken care of every problem I have ever had, no matter how minor or major. Their employees are all very personable, and they make it as pleasant an experience as possible. more

Ray's OK Services Inc don't overcharge you and fix what needs to be fixed. I don't have to be there all they time. They also tell me when I don't need something to be fixed when dealers say I need to. I've used them several times, but last time I got a car repaired. They took it for a test-drive and suggested a fuel injector that might had been clogging and to get fuel for it. They gave me options to fix it that were not expensive. Also, they are good with domestic cars as wells as foreign cars like BMW, Lexus, Volkswagen and other types of cars. I have recommended them to other people and they are also very happy with what they charge. They are honest and get back to you. They stand behind their work. more

Ray's OK Services Inc. had great workmanship and they were very honest. They did all automotive work from bumper to bumper. They were very fairly-priced, and conscientious. They were honest about the prices upfront, and there were no surprises. They were just good people. more

Out of Townes needed help 8/27/2014

I was in town for a family wedding Our car was having tire troubles Rays helped us out look it over and told us the problem. Told the time very nice and gave us peace of mind to return home without Car trouble Especially needing to go thru Chicago Travel on our way back to ohio Thanks again for all your help more

Outstanding customer service and workmanship! 7/2/2014

We have been going to Ray's OK Services Inc since about 1995, and primarily it's been an older car that we've brought in. In fact, they actually saved one car for us. We were having a problem with the oil and antifreeze mixing, and other mechanics told us the engine was done. But Paul at Ray's OK Services was able to go in and do things with the gasket to save the car. It's been running fine ever since then, which was in 2003. They're knowledgeable, they explain everything really well, and the pricing is always reasonable! I've 59 years old and gone to some good places, but Ray's has been consistently outstanding. I've worked with a number of their mechanics, and I've never been unhappy with any of them. They all have so much knowledge, and they take you right out to the car to show you what's going on. They explain things so everything makes sense. I always refer them! more

Nothing but the best! 6/10/2014

I have been taking my vehicle's to Ray's OK Services Inc. for a number of years. My wife and my adult children also take their vehicles there. We have had them address numerous issues for us including; engine, transmission, brakes, wipers and many other items. We continue to be loyal to them because they do great work and have very reasonable prices. The value is very good for the service they provide. We also appreciate all of the advice that they have given us and them providing us with bulletins from manufactures about different issues on particular vehicles. All of the service technicians are very skilled. We all have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Ray's OK Services Inc. more

It's not "OK", it's outstanding! 5/7/2014

Our family has been using Ray's OK Services Inc for decades. When I was a child growing up, I remember my parents always took our vehicles there. They are very honest, and they have very fair pricing, which is why we keep going back. One time, they were trying to diagnose a problem with my son's Mitsubishi Eclipse. They test drove it and did different tests. It was discovered that it needed a new computer from Mitsubishi, and they didn't charge us a penny for all the labor they did. My husband is a mechanic for the public works department and police department, and he trusts the mechanics at Ray's. We never go to a dealership as opposed to Ray's. One of my nephew's used to work at a dealership, but now he only goes to Ray's too. They're good with both foreign and American cars. They do good work, and they are very honest. more

Outstanding! 4/8/2014

I've been going to Ray's OK Services for thirty or forty years now. They've done everything for me from oil changes to tune ups, I've bought tires and batteries from them, and when different things have broken on my cars over the years, they always fixed them in a timely manner. I trust them because they don't fix anything that doesn't need fixing. more

Boken down from out of town 3/13/2014

I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago and was on my way to a dealer meeting in West Allis, when I had a bearing in my rear end go out and caused my car to ALMOST go out of control. I was just a couple of blocks from the Loomis exit on 894. This was the best bad thing that could happen. I limped into Ray's and hoped for the best. Ray proved to be honest and upright with me. Other places could have taken advantage of the situation, but Ray got me up and running in almost no time, even though his shop was filled, he squeezed me in and got me going in 2 hours. I realize I can't use them as my regular service guys, but I would if I could. Anyone in the area please give these guys your business. more

Absolutely amazing 12/30/2013

Ray's is honestly the best auto shop. I refuse to go anywhere else. I've been happily going there for ten years now and don't plan on stopping. Ray's has refunded my money for certain jobs that ended up costing less than what was quoted. I remember taking my Cadillac to Ray's to repair a good amount of damage and they did the job for half of what other places charged me. They've saved me so much money and I love them. Ray, Dave, Paul, and John are just really honest and skilled guys. I've sent friends to Ray's because they're so trustworthy to me. I'd only recommend them! more

Ray's OK Services has been taking care of my car for over ten years. As a widower, I trust them completely with my vehicle. When I go there, they make sure that my car is taken care of. I don't have to worry about them not checking something. I can also call to ask them questions. I think everyone there has worked on my car in one way or another. They are reliable and courteous.
