I just want to say thankyou to Danielle at Raymar. My hair was damaged from my previous hairdresser and I found Danielle thru a friend of my who has been seeing her for many years. Danielle hepled me get my hair back to being healthy and shiny. She gave me a beautiful cut and a wonderful color. I would recommend trying Danielle if you are in search of a new hairstylist. Total Satisfaction with Relaxtion at Raymar Salon 12/7/2006

I experienced the most relaxing massage that began with deep tissue and muscle trigger point, followed by a soothing swedish massage! It was a fabulous experience. I strongly recommend a session with Evelyn D at the RayMar Salon, located in Watertown, Ma. She was friendly and genuinely caringl....she even set-up a homework plan at home for me to follow., In order to sooth my aching muscles and joints! more

I just got my hair cut and highlighted by Lisa. She did such a wonderful job. \r She is so professional. It shows that she really takes pride in her work. Great Hair, Great Service!!! 10/30/2006

My girlfriend has been going to Danielle for about 5 years now for her hair and she recommended that I go to see her. I brought in a picture of what I wanted, she gave me a beautiful haircut with just a few highlights... I was so pleased. Great Spa - Lisa is the Best! 10/24/2006

I was referred by a friend to go see Lisa at RayMar. I've been wanting to do something completely different with my hair for some time now. I was just a bit scared thinking something might go wrong, and I wouldn't like my new style. \r \r Well I made an appoinment with Lisa, and right from the start, I knew I was in good hands. She is so professional. She asked me what I think I would like, what color I may like, and of course she gave me her opinions as well. \r \r After discussing different options, I just told her ""Do what you think would look good"". She cut 2 inches off my hair, gave me some layers, and gave me some beautiful highlights. \r \r I couldn't stop looking at my hair when she was all done. It just looks absolutely stunning. Lisa also gave me a first time client discount, which cut down the price dramatically. I was in shock, first I get the best cut & color, then a nice discount. \r Lisa is amazing, she the only hair stylist I'll be going to. Great haircuts and styling by Lisa 10/23/2006

Lisa is my hairdresser, my sister recommended her to me about five years ago and I have been seeing her ever since- I lover her!! She recently did my hair for my wedding as well as my sisters and moms (my sister got married three years ago and Lisa did all of our hair as well then). She did an incredible job! I got so many compliments as did my sister and mother. I love the fact that I am never rushed when I go to her and she always asks me what I want! I always leave feeling like a million bucks. more

Great Experience! Great Service! 10/22/2006

I had an appointment this weekend to get my hair highlighted, and cut. I've been looking forward to stopping by there since a co-worker of mine has been telling me to go check it out. \r \r I had my hair done by Lisa. She did a great job on my hair. The highlights came out perfect, and the hair cut was better than I expected. Lisa was very professional, she wanted to make sure my hair came out exactly how I wanted it, and it did!\r \r To top it all off, I received a unbelievable discount for being a first time client of hers. I'm definitely going back to see her. \r \r I've had my share of bad colors and cuts, so I was a little nervous going there, but since my co-workers hair looked absolutely flawless, I had to give it a shot, and I'm glad a did. \r \r My hair is perfect. \r \r It's definitely worth checking this place out. \r \r Lar~ Pros: Great Service - First Time Clients Receive a good discount - Parking in back Cons: Salon was a little bit loud, other than that perfect! more

I have been going to Lisa for over six years now. She is awesome. She is always in a great mood and you can tell that she loves what she does- it shows in every hair cut and color \r I get. I like to try different things and always trust her 100%. I have had my hair dyed \r red, black, have had highlights, bangs you name it and always love it!!! I would not go \r to anyone else!!!!!!! I have trick hair and she was the first stylist to ever give me layers \r that I loved!! People often ask me who my stylist because they love my haircuts. \r I recomend everyone to her. I had a girls day out at raymar this past Saturday. I had 10 girls and all had lots of fun. Some had massage, pedicures, manicures, facials and waxing. Some had there hair styled. I on the other hand had my hair done by Lisa. She did a highlight and cut. All I have to say is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! Lisa did such a great job on the color. She also gives 30% off your 1st service with her. I'm so pleased that all my girls had fun and everyone at the salon was so kind. We had wine and some munchies and we had alittle set up that we could all sit and chat over wine and be pampered.\r \r THANK YOU ALL AT THE SALON FOR MAKING US FEEL AT HOME> ALSO FOR SUCH GREAT SERVICE!!\r \r Lisa is my new hair dressser!\r \r There was only one thing that I have to add, There was no-1 at 1st to do our nails but they hired some people to come in and take care of all our needs. Best Updos in Boston 10/4/2006

I recently just got married and I had Maria, the owner of RayMar do my hair and my bridemaids hair. She was so accomodating , she went to our hotel on a Sunday morning to do my hair. I had been to the salon for my trial run and everyone there was so nice. I was so happy that I met the staff and Maria. I looked so beautiful on my wedding day because of Maria. She is a must for updos!!!!! more

Great salon , Great location, Friendly atmosphere!!! 10/2/2006

I went ot RayMar salon because my last hairdresser gave me terrible hilites, and Danielle did such a wonderful job fixing my hair . It looked so good and I got so many compliments on them that I have sent a few of my friends in there as well. The expierence was wonderful from the friendly staff to the coffee and desserts that were offered to the one stop shop. They have it all. Hair, Nails, Facials Massages. This is definately my new place to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: parking, friendly staff great location more

My new hairdresser!!!! 10/2/2006

For some time now I have been going into Newbury St. in Boston to get my hair done. Now that I have moved into the Watertown area I needed something closer, so I stumbled across RayMar Salon where I met my new hairdresser Danielle. She did an unbelievable job on my hilites. They were the best I have ever had. They were very natural looking. The atmosphere was relaxing and very friendly. I highly recommend going to RayMar. more

Great location, excellent service, warm and friendly environment 9/16/2006

I have been going to see Alla at Raymar Day Spa for almost four years now to get my eyebrows waxed. She has worked absolute miracles with me and I would highly recommend going to her for any waxing or facial treatments. The rest of the staff are also extrememly friendly and I always enjoy the time I spend there. Its a fantastic salon in a great location - it couldn't hurt to check it out!! Best Salon Around 9/8/2006

I recently went out to eat with my boyfriend to the Half-way cafe, and noticed a salon across the street, named RayMar. I decided that I'd call and make an appointment based on the good impression the salon gave me. When i arrived for my appointment, I was greeted at the door and was actually offered a choice of Cappucino or esspresso, which absolutly shocked me, i honestly couldnt believe the great service. I was seen by a male hairdresser, Lorenzo. He really took good care of me, and asked all the right questions. I've gone into salons in the past and the stylist would do what they want, or style it not to what i was asking. But when Lorenzo began asking me questions on how i like to wear my hair, I realized i was going to walk out of the salon looking what I wanted to look like. When I did walk out, it wasn't the nicest day outside, but i felt great with my new hairstyle. Not even the rain could ruin my day at this point. I am more than satisfyed with my experience at RayMar Day Spa & Hair Salon. I would recomend this to anyone who appreciates a great enviroment, great hospitality, and of course, great service. A+ Pros: 1st time client discount, Great location, lots of parking Cons: Cant think of one! more

Great Salon - Great employees - Great Service! 8/23/2006

One of my co-workers walked into work with a completely different hair style and color. She looked absolutely amazing. I asked her where she got her hair done, and she told me Raymar. She told me to definitely go see Lisa. \r \r Well I finally had the opportunity to go, and let me tell you Lisa is a miracle worker. She's very professional, kind, and takes pride in her work. I had a full foil, and a cut, and my hair just looks unbelievable, I keep getting compliments on it. \r \r Hold on though, it gets even better. She's all done with my hair, and I'm ready to go pay and Lisa gives me this unbelievable discount. She told me that she does this for all her first time clients. Which she really doesn't have to considering she's been in the business for approximately 10 years. I get a great hair cut and color, then a big discount on top of it! best hair in boston, awesome color and cuts, newbury street work that's affordable 8/22/2006

I went into Raymar and had an appointment with Lisa. As soon as I sat in the chair I knew I was in good hands. She told me she used to work on newbury st and that she has been doing hair for ten years. I was relieved when I heard that! She listened to everything I said and did exactly what I wanted. I was referred to her by one of my friends and I'm psyched to have found someone that loves what they do. I recieved the best color and cut for an affordable price. I was soo excited that I rebooked with her as soon as I left. I highly recommend anyone that wants great hair to go see lisa. You'll know what I mean when you meet her.
