I had a terrible time with several services that were contracted under my original LG warranty- I mean terrible. Each one had a scam, they'd take a week to show up, then refuse to pull the machine out from under the counter, then another week to order parts, then they'd say the service was not covered under warranty and they wanted $200 - all kinds of really bad problems. So I was frightened when my LG washer dryer WM3431HW shut down with error "CE" and a burning smell. Having the service manual after so much bad service, I saw there was no way around service, parts had to be replaced, maybe the motor, maybe a circuit board.
