I participated in a the Essential Practices for Well-being retreat and loved it! A beginner meditation workshop, we looked at how and why to use meditation in daily life. The teacher was excellent. Trained in both Western Psychology and Buddhist practices, she gave real life examples and made the concepts practical and applicable. It was easy to feel meditative and relaxed in such a beautiful and serene location. I highly recommend attending a retreat here.

Pros: beautiful, scenic, friendly community, great instruction
Cons: i could have stayed on retreat much longer.
