Awful customer service 12/29/2006

After waiting 30 minutes for our pizza to be delivered, we received a call stating that they will not deliver to Ohio City after dark. After asking to speak to a manager, the manager was not only rude, but unapolgetic. We will never order from this establishement again. more

Downtown's Best Pizza 2/22/2006

As a relatively new resident to the warehouse district I am pleased to discover the Milano Pizza at Rascal House - A pizza in the true Italian tradition, big on flavor & almost no cheese. The sauce is truly a winner, sub banana peppers for the green & you have a hit. Great service great pizza, you wont be disappointed! more

Editorial
  • The Scene
Welcome to the Rascal House, where '80s pop music assails you from the moment you walk in (insert appropriate "cheese" pun here). The decor is inoffensive, and there's usually a booth available to sit and read the paper or chat with friends. In accordance with the maxim "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," if the last time you were at the Rascal House was as a CSU student 10-plus years ago, you'll find that it has changed not one iota.

    The Food
It's okay. One can procure all manner of exotic pizza, but the basic cheese/pepperoni/sausage deal is roughly $2 a slice and reasonably tasty when it's warm. Sub sandwiches, wings, pita wraps and salads are all available, and none will disappoint in either portion size or quality. Served on paper plates and plastic trays, this isn't grand cuisine. But for what it is, you'll get your money's worth. This location features an industrial-looking sports bar at its rear; it's name changes every so often but it always keeps TVs on and beer flowing.
