This is my first time writing a Cityseach review, but I really felt compelled to, after experiencing Rasa Sayang. I was in a bit of an adventurous mood on Sunday and decided to try out this Malay restaurant. Now, granted, I am of Vietnamese origin, so I am accustomed to eating Southeast Asian food. So I suppose it was not too bizarre for me to try the food. But regardless, it was excellent. I count Vietnamese and Thai as my favorite Southeast Asian cuisines, and and now Malaysian is part of the list. I had the Rendang Lembu, which is a ""dry curry beef stew."" Let me just say that it was absolutely divine. Since I do not eat huge portions (part of that New Year's Resolution and whole ""lifestyle change"" thing), I had a little less than half the beef with the given rice order and took home the rest. Well, I am on my second dinner with my leftover (we've always got jasmine rice cooking here) and it is just about as delicious as the first night. Go and try this Holcomb Bridge treasure. You will not be disappointed. Make sure you try a Malay dish, rather than Thai or Chinese (although, according to my family members who dined with me that fateful night, the Thai and Chinese dishes are great too).
Pros: Ambience, Parking, Customer Service, Food
Cons: NONE!!
