A very happy place 4/10/2007

This place is GREAT!!! From the food to the people and not to mention the spirits. You don't have to be Irish to enjoy. If you were there on St. Patrick's day and you have red hair and your name is Charlotte, I would very much like to see you again. This is not your typical ""tourist"" pub! 12/20/2006

I have been to many ""Irish Pubs"" throughout the area and always come back ""home"" to Rare Olde Times. This is the real deal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Get a great meal, nice pint, and listen to some wonderful authentic Irish music. Rare Olde Times is one of Richmond's hidden jewels! Pros: Prices, Food, Atmosphere, Staff Cons: Not one in Virginia Beach! more

One of the finest establishments that we have been to in Richmond. It has everything; great atmosphere, wonderful people and exceptional food. We make it a point to stop in at least once a week. Stop in on a Thursday and listen to the band. Pros: Ambience, Food, Drinks more

A Fine Pub 5/22/2004

Quite possibly the best pub in Richmond. They offer traditonal Irish fare, cooked to perfection. They also have a grand beer selection and are not as pricey as most pubs in the area. You can find traditional Irish music including live bands here most every night of the week. Owned and operated by phoys and girls from the island - this is a grand place to grab a pint of the black stuff. Pros: Great food, Great atmosphere, Great parking more
