The best part of the restaurant was clearly the service. The wait staff was funny, very understanding on preparing certain foods certain ways. They went out of their way to make our dining experience magical. The food was average, even though we ordered off the menu, I had a feeling it was probably from the buffet earlier. The food came out quick and it taste ok. The price was average indian price of 12-17. I would recomment the place for entertainment purpose but not for the best taste. If you are in the neck of the woods and want a decent meal at a fair price, it works. Not the best and far from the worst. more

Best Indian Food 11/4/2011

I have been there with a few friends a couple of times . The lunch buffet is amazing and at an unbelievable price.The ambience is great and the service is prompt and with a very friendly staff.The dinner is even more impressive with a wide variety of choices on the menu and we were even allowed to customize the food based on our taste as much as possible. I would recommend this restaurant over any other indian restaurant in NY and will continue to enjoy their food as frequently as possible. more

Best Indian Food in the Tri State! 11/3/2011

I walked into Rani Mahal already knowing I love Indian food but wasn't expecting it to exceed my expectations. The service was impeccable. More importantly, the lunch buffet was perfection. I'd never been to an Indian restaurant for lunch before and was extremely impressed with the selection, QUALITY (delicious) and the price was unbeatable. I've since gone back for lunch several times and dinner. I'm hooked. more
