Randy's Pizza

The food was so delicious. I got the lasagna, and the portion was huge. It also came with a salad and rolls, which were great. I only paid around $14 for all of it plus delivery, and it came quickly. I wish I knew about this place sooner. more

4 stars because of delivery issues. Randy’s Pizza on Martin Luther makes excellent pizza. But I’ve had not so great experiences with delivery. One time when I opened the box the whole pizza was at one end. The box had obviously been turned on its side. On some occasions I got a great pizza in a fairly reasonable time. Once something happened so my order was very late and cold. I love their pizza but quit ordering takeout. Though the staff’s personality is a bit peculiar I highly recommend visiting Randy’s if you just want super good pizza. more

Generally taste food. Not at all health conscious and lately I was horrified to find a piece of mud in my salad. They exchanged if for a new salad, but my lunch time was ruined and they didn't offer to take it off the bill or a coupon. more

By far the best pizza around. I grew up in Philadelphia, and this place makes pizza like I grew up with. They use real mozzarella, not the fake stuff the chain places use. Good pizza can be warmed and sold by the slice, and Randy fits the bill for that. And, the slices are huge! If you want a slice or two, go to Randy's. If you want a whole pie, go to Randy's. These are the biggest slices in town, with the best taste. The cheese and sauce have excellent flavor. This is the only place I buy pizza, I love it. I'm spoiled by Brooklyn's Italians. Pros: Big and Yummy Cons: Location, Location, Location, not the best. more

We tried Randy's Pizza for the first time in a long while last week, and had forgotten how outstanding the food is! Since the new ownership has taken over, the place is cleaner, the service terrific, and the new menu offerings are a welcome addition to the menu. \r We love the Classic Greek Pizza with the new Greek Salad. It was absolutely delicious. We went on a Friday evening, and the place was busy but not overly so. The service we got was the best in a long while. The staff was very accomodating, and we highly recommend Randy's Pizza for the huge slices, and the great service. They also deliver, too. I went here with a couple friends, and the food was fine. The restrooms were less then acceptable, and the rest of the place was not very clean. The icing on the cake was when the employee put the pizza right in front of my baby, and he put his fingers in the cheese before I could stop him. A little common sense might be a good thing! \r \r I much prefer the Morrisville location, and I think I will stick to that on from now on. more

We ordered food for lunch and was told we would have our food in 45 min to an hour. It actually took 1 hour and 35 min for us to get the food. When we called the young lady who answered the phone was very nasty. They may have great food but they offer poor customer service. Therefore they have lost me as a customer. more

Chewy, but crispy, flat crust; thick cheese; tangy sweet sauce - This is a really great NY style pizza joint that I'd never thought I'd find in NC. It's a great deal - 2 (big) slices with a topping and a drink for under 6 bucks. Service is speedy, toppings are classic and of a pretty good quality. Love thin-crust NY style pizza? I have visited all the Randy's pizza's in the area and I love the one on Miami Blvd in the RTP best of all. Their customer service is great. They have a great staff that makes you feel at home. The pizza and sauce is by far superior to the other locations. The pizza is thin and the toppings are always cooked to perfection. For another tasty treat try their garlic knots, and ask for marinara on the side. It is deliciously ""spicy-sweet!"" You get great food at a great price- ~ 6 bucks for 2 large slices and I mean large and a drink. It is even worth the wait during the lunchtime rush. more

I just love this place! I searched high and low for a decent pizza and sub place, since moving here from the north... I FINALLY found this GREAT place one night when I was going to the movies, and stumbled across it in the parking lot near Windsong Theatre.... I was thrilled to see another pizza place around here besides Dominoes and Papa Johns... UGGH!!! Talk about lousy pizza! \r \r Anyway, I went in and ordered 2 slices and a drink... I walked out of that place with a full tummy and a smile on my face... I had FINALLY had a piece of DELICIOUS pizza... Nobody beats Randy's Pizza on Hope Valley Road!!! Their authentic NY Style pizza will remind anybody from up north what true NY Pizza still is! My entire neighborhood gets together every month and we all order from the Hope Valley Store. My family dines there nearly every week, and we would never consider another pizza restaurant. Since the new owner took over, the service has greatly improved, and that just adds a huge bonus to the great food. THEY EVEN DELIVER! If you live near the Southpoint Mall area, you better call Randy's at Hope Valley Road and check them out...you WON'T be disappointed. Pros: great pizza, delivery, great value more

If you're looking for a real New York pizza place - both in food and in ambience - look no further. If you're looking for something trendy, then I'd suggest you look somewhere else. We've tried every pizza you can imagine in the Triangle and Randy's wins hands down. Randy's really should be voted the bestin town. Lilly's is good,don't get me wrong, but just try Randy's especially if you've spent any time up north (to get a REAL taste for pizza). This is thin crust heaven, plus fantastic calzones and stromboli's. I've eaten many times at the MLK location, but finally there is a place in RTP with good pizza (on Miami Blvd just south of I-40, on the left). Pizza is the perfect fast, cheap lunch, but until now, there was really no decent options near Nortel. And this place is excellent. The owners are right there every day, making sure the food is good and their customes are happy. Plus, they deliver. Randy's has some of the best Pizza in the Southwest Durham area, real NY style. If you're looking for real pizza instead of the ususal franchise crud, this is the place. They have great specials on Monday's. more

The Randy's Pizza on Hope Valley Rd (same owner) is much better than the one on MLK, but both are pretty damn good. Closest to home (NY) pizza that I've had in this culture lacking town. more
