Randall Crow Roofing

I did not want to publicly dis Mr. Crow, but it really bothers me to see him completely deny the other bad review on here when I had the exact same experience with him. I owe him no money. And I have never had contact with him outside of a professional capacity. My initial experience with Mr. Crow was so positive that I recommended him widely to friends. When there was insurance money at stake, he was very responsive. He worked with my insurance company to get an appropriate settlement. His crew worked hard and quickly to get my roof on. They seemed to do a good job. I was very, very pleased. But then, I got leaks in my flat roof. After a lot of calling and several committed appointments were he was a no-show, he finally sent his crew out to reseal it. But they didn't fix the leaks. I had water pouring into my house by the bucketload. My entire ceiling had to be replaced. I contacted Randall Crow multiple times over two months, by phone, email and letter to try to get him to fix the leaks and the further damage to my ceiling -- and I got absolutely no response. I had a friend who was a contractor come back and reseal it, successfully, but at my cost. Now, a short four years after the roof was initially put on, it looks like we will have to completely replace the entire flat roof. It wasn't set or sealed properly in the first place and the fixes haven't held. I'm starting to get water damage again. I understand that mistakes happen. But there was no work to rectify mine, and I would strongly recommend against using Randall Crow Roofing as a result. more

Okay, so I've read some disparaging reviews here and have to scratch my head. My wife and I have used Randall on several occasions and have ALWAYS had a perfect experience with him and his crews. He's gotten us hail damage money when no one else could find any, which, by the way, saved us lots of $$$. The last roof he did for us was a miraculous effort on his part and the part of his crew. It had been raining every day for weeks and we needed to get the roof done in order to close on our house sale. Somehow he found a window of sunshine...all in one day...and somehow got the entire roof done. He even had to bring the roof up to code, which is why we needed a new one in the first place. That meant ripping out the old decking, etc and replacing that before getting to the rest of the job. We were truly amazed...as always Randall Crow has always come through for us. On time and within budget...and has never been called back for poor craftsmanship. Summer of 08 I had one customer that wanted me to participate in insurance fraud on Travellers \r insurance company. I have several thousand happy customers in the Austin area. And we are currently\r working in the Houston/Galveston area assisting with the rebuild of the coastal damage due to Hurricane Ike. This particular customer does not have a leak he has a great roof. He does however have a grudge \r against me personally and a lot of time on his hands (and still owes Randall Crow Roofing over $10,000.00). RCR -Austin, Texas will not stand behind his warranties. I have been having a leak and he will\r not come back to fix, even with a written 5 year warranty. Claimed to have insurance and when \r the problem came up, now he claims he does not. Claimed to have paid his contractors, and then\r found out he has not....Stay away at all cost. more
