My Japanese wife and I have been dining here for many years and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is great, including a koi pond, impeccable landscaping and enchanting background music. There are two tiako (or Japanese drums) shows nightly and the children are invited to feed the koi nightly. The customers birthday ceremony is very special. As for the food, it is Japanese, but with a Floridian influence. I highly recommend the boat for two people that includes a fresh lobster tail and tender sliced steak. I also recommend the yosanabe, which is a fresh fish stew for two, prepared at your table. I must admit, during the busy periods service can be a bit substandard, but this is not a restaurant where you expect to be in and out in less than an hour, which is so common with most American diners.
Pros: The "value" includes the ambience and entertainment. Great for groups & families.
Cons: Gets crowded fast...have a reservation on weekends.
