Ramos-Rivera, Barbara, Dvm - Silver Springs Animal Clinic

We were clients of Silver Springs Animal Clinic from about 1998/99, until 2002, when we relocated to Kansas City, MO. It just doesn't get better than this practice. We always requested Dr. Clements and Dr. Hann. But no matter whose hands any one, or combination, of our 4 Springer Spaniels and two domestic tabby cats were in, we knew they were as safe as could be. We've found some great veterinarian care here in Kansas City, but we will always miss and wish that Silver Springs was right down the road. Pros: We always knew that we were getting the best care we could for our pets, and they had a very precise schedule of preventive care routines. Cons: There was no affiliation with an institution in the Harrisburg Metro area, with MRI and CT Scan capabilities; at least at that time. more

I will never go to another vet. In August '08, when our little 5 month old chihuahua puppy got sick no one gave her hope. We took her there for a second opinion. Dr. Hann was very kind and wasn't ready to give up on her. He kept her overnight in the palmyra clinic. Unfortunately she passed away the following morning but we were so thankful that he tried. She was so young and to give up on her was too hard. We are so thankful for the staff at Silver Springs Animal Clinic. They are awesome. more

They put stitches on my lizards broken tail. I contacted several experts for my species of lizard, and all said that stitches were not appropriate. This type of lizard will regenerate its tail slightly and cap off with good tissue. more

I really was pleased with the service here. They treated both me and my pets with such care and apperication. The one thing that pleased me the most was they treated my pets with such love that I felt safe leaving them there overnight.
