It was the end of a traveling day and didn't make arrangements ahead. We stopped At this Super 8 and found a friendly smile at the desk. The room was large and CLEAN but most of all they have an awesome salt water pool!! The pool area was clean also. The next morning during breakfast we told the front desk attendant how friendly everyone was and how wonderful that pool is. Here it was the manager. We are glad we stayed!! more

I stayed here during a family reunion that was held at this motel. Even brought along my large dog and he got to enjoy the room too. First thing that was noticed was that the room had been renovated since my last visit here 4 yrs ago. The rooms were clean and comfortable 4 yrs ago and they only improved on what they already had. Room was inviting, clean and beds were comfortable. The meeting rooms were spacious and taken care of. The staff couldn't of been nicer or helpful. They made sure the breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked and made sure we had what we needed and asked for the whole time of our stay. The Wi-Fi was the best I have used in a long time at a motel. We had one computer up at all times and were able to SKYPE with other family members that were not able to attend. The pool is the largest of any of the hotels in town and the area around the pool area is kept clean and welcoming. Prices are competitive with other hotels nearby. If your looking for a great hotel close to lots of restaurants and along a main road this is the one for you. more

The room was a King bed very comfortable had wifi they have added antennas by the back of the pool so the signal is stronger now but I didn't use it much cause we were in the pool most of the time. As far as restaurants it is on the main strip from fast food to sit down & eat steak places to eat. There is no fitness center other than swimming in the pool or walking around the town. which is fine with me. We know how to entertain ourselves. more

I like this location it is right off the highway next to many restaurants and shopping, perfect for the business traveler who does not want to get lost. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. the rooms are very clean and furniture was up to date. They also have a pool and rooms with a jacuzzi available. more

Upon checking for a an inexpensive stay in Henderson this hotel stood out as it had some very nice packaged deals for the weekend. With having options for business, family and romantic getaway weekends I chose this place over the others. Their friendly helpful staff late at night was an added bonus upon arriving here. The family package that I had chose was not coming up but the staff found a way to make that deal happen anyway. The stay was great. I really enjoyed the stay here and would recommend this to anyone else looking for a clean friendly hotel to stay in while in the Henderson area. more

For a small town Hendersons Super 8 had it going on! The Salt Water Pool was new and wonderful and a meeting ground for making new friends and lounging around, bring your ice chest with the beverages of your choice! The locals appear to like this spot as it fills up rather quickly on a Thursday through Sunday with many business patrons as well all week long! It is a large complex and some rooms have been rebovated in a Las Vagas, lively flair, with plenty mirrors: a must see. The staff and establishment were all excellent from the moment I arrived. If you are traveling through Henderson, Kentucky you must stay at the Super 8: You will not be sorry! more

I have stayed at this particular Super 8 many times over the past year. I have never had an issue with their rooms. For the location and price, it is tough to beat the Super8 in Henderson Kentucky. Like many other reviewers, I had an issue connecting to the wi-fi with my ten year old laptop. On my latest visit, I considered staying at another location, but I was told they had just put in a brand new wi-fi system. The manager himself even showed me the new switch (I think that is what it is called). I figured I could give it a chance, especially since the hotel is nice and almost half the price of its competitors. I went to my room and had zero connection issues. It was great! I felt like I was working from home. With an older laptop, some of the newer networks don't communicate well with my wireless card. Not the case during this trip. I highly recommend giving this Motel a chance if you are looking for a clean, friendly place to stay. more

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly smile.\r I had originally requested a non smoking king room. When I arrived I noticed pictures of several Jacuzzi Suites. After asking about them, I just had to indulge. I am so glad I did!\r If I hadn't had to return home the next day for a meeting, I would have definitely stayed again. I give this motel 2 thumbs up! more

My husband and i went there for a ""retreat"". We just needed a night to ouselves away from worries and work and family. The mangment was amazing. They were very helpful and freindly. We got the room the day aftrer valentines. The location was great!! right on the strip. next to all the restaraunts and a bar right across the street! everything we could have asked for. When time came to check out we gathered our things and turned in our room key. When we got home we realized that we forgot our cell phone charger. I called management at the hotel and they were gracious enough to hold on toit for me until i was able to pic k it up that afternoon! they were wonderfull and friendly and it couldn't have been better! more

I stayed in this Motel for 3 days and 2 nights for the Todd/Gonzales Family Reunion, July 2012. The Motel staff went out of their way to accommodate the guests attending the Reunion in addition to other Motel guests staying on property during this same time.\r \r The staff was attentative to all the needs of the guests as I observed them providing additional food at their continental breakfast area when this got low. Coffee was always full and the area was kept clean. The breakfast area was located just away from the lobby area. In addition the Motel provided two banquet rooms which could be used for Conferences, Conventions and meeting spaces. These areas were provided for our Family Reunion gathering and eating areas. This was way more that I was expecting from a Super 8 Motel\r \r The room was spacious, clean and provided more than the basic necessities for a Motel of this same type. The bed was comfortable, the lighting was more than adequate, water pressure above satisfactory, the mini refrigerator remained cold, microwave oven worked perfect and the room air conditioner worked fantastic. The WI-FI worked perfect without delay. The area is safe with plenty of lighting which made me feel that my vehicle was safe at all times; but not too much lighting effecting sleeping at night, just the right amount of lighting.\r \r The pool was way larger than any other Motel of this same type. The pool area is clean, plenty of chairs and chaise loungers. The pool lighting at night changed colors (rotating color wheel light). I’ve got one of these in my inground pool at home. I’ve never seen this in a Motel of this same type (nice touch). Noise cannot be heard in the room from the pool area or road area, so if you are light sleeper this will not impact your rest.\r \r I want to thank the Management and Staff of the Super 8 Motel in Henderson, KY. You provided a memorable experience for our Family Reunion. Others will not be disappointed staying here. Thanks once again to the Management and Staff, you truly deserve it. more
