Nice place to eat in the summer. 4/3/2006

I love the ram on Ruston Way in the summer. You can sit on the back deck and relax next to the water. Whenever I go back to visit my family in WA we stop here. I get the same thing that I have always gotten. I get the appetizer bbq chicken quesadilla for my meal. It is so big and huge I can only eat half. It comes drizzled with an excellent bbq sauce and sour cream on top. The pico de gallo and salsa on the side is excellent. I also get the spiked ice tea, the raspberry one. It is very good and I am a light weight but I am always feeling good after just one. more

Ram Restaurant & Brewery 4/3/2006

We were in Tacoma for a long weekend and had to find a place to watch the George Mason v. Florida game...We were directed to the bar area of the Ram because of the multiple TVs (small) and one HUGE screen TV. It was a great location for watching the game. The food was great - pretty standard pub food menu...for some reason the bar menu was 1/3 off all food! It was a great atmosphere and we were really happy that like all Washington bars, it was a smoke-free establishment. The services was friendly, but slow. My husband tried all the beers they had on tap and thought they were average...not bad, but not great. more

Popular place 1/22/2006

This is a terribly popular place on the Ruston Way waterfront. This is where I met my boyfriend, while he was on leave, two days before he went back to Iraq. We had a great seat in the bar, great beers, and a HUGE screen TV. We like the ambience of this place, nice staff, great location. We've been back a few times, and we really like it, even though it really sucks to wait in line for so long, especially if we had to wait with our daughter. The wait and the parking are by far the biggest detractors, and that's why they earned three stars instead of four. The food is good too. more
