What do I think about Raliegh's Bartending School? I think it is freaking AWESOME! From the time I called and they asked about my history to the time I graduated I had the BEST experience thus far! I started with the week class and after learning all the information I decided to stay another week which was absolutely fine with Nikki! I graduated yesterday after racking my nerves up about the test and come to fine out it really was not as bad as we make it out to be! In the words of Todd ""we are not doctors performing surgery, it's just bartending""\r more

I enrolled in the two week morning classes to learn how to bar tend. I wasn't sure of what to expect, but I felt comfortable going into my first day of class because I spoke with Anthony about my reasons, and aspiration to become a bartender. He assured me that I was making a prominent decision in deciding to purse becoming a professional bartender with RBS, as well as the PROS behind that decision. My first day of class I was so overwhelmed with the information I was given, but also enthused. I wasn't sure if I would be competent enough to adhere to being a a bartender. But, throughout the exceptional and intriguing lessons, I was more than assured to be proficient. The teaching is top notch, and even though a lot of bartending is common sense, some crucial steps ah.re based mainly on experience. What I have learned throughout the duration of my course, I would have had to bartend beyond my years to pick up on alone. Overall my experience was a once in a lifetime experience of knowledge, maturity, and a wealth of humility and opportunity which I hope you will have as well! more

I took the 2 week course and had a blast. The hands-on experience not only made the class fun, it helps in retaining the information. I passed my written and speed tests on a Friday, and by Tuesday of the next week I am starting my 1st bartending job. This is something I have always wanted to try - I'm so glad I took the steps to get here. more

The experience I had at RBS was fantastic. I took the two week course, which was a pace that I felt was well balanced and very reasonable. The class is very hands on and is structured in a way that allows you to practice, practice, practice - which is of course probably the best way to learn how to bartend. Stephanie and Anthony both had a ton of extremely useful information, both on the material in the class and for bartending in the real world. They both really know they're stuff and are very approachable and friendly, and they are always available to answer any questions or provide clarification. Also, they have lots of funny stories. The class is very hands on and it's an exceptionally social environment. Everyone in all the classes was very cool, and we all learned together and helped each other during practice time, and we really enjoyed one another's company. The written test was relavant to the course material and practical test (making 12 drinks in 6 minutes) was a lot of fun. The whole class stayed for everyone's test, with us all cheering each other on. I would absolutely recommend RBS to anyone, whether they're looking for a career in bartending, some extra income, or just want to learn to have fun making drinks at home for themselves and friends. WIth my past service industry experience and the certificate I received, I found a job after I passed the course on the way home, the very same day. more

I had a great time learning from someone who has been in the business for a while and had the patient to teach someone like me unfamiliar with so many drinks! I recommend this course to everyone looking to switch it up and be pleased and feel accomplished ! Thank you! more

Great class. Vickie was incredibly helpful, and patient. My full-time job made it impossible to sit through a course straight through. Vickie helped me out and we were able to work around my odd hours and work schedule. I feel confident that with this training I could be an asset in any bar/restaurant. Pros: null Cons: null more

I had a really great time at RBS. I had no prior experience in bartending, but I sure learned a lot from this school. Vicki is an awesome instructor. The bar set up and the music really help you get in the groove of learning and making drinks. It was all hands on training, and that's the best way to learn anything. I definitely recommend RBS to anyone who's interested in becoming a bartender. :) Pros: null Cons: null more
