Me and my girlfriend have lived in these apartments for over a year now. Have had little trouble with the property it self aside from random firing off of firearms(35 rounds to be exact since we've lived here.)and a few break ins to apt and vehicles. With all that the around, the worst part is the actual management. Absolutely disconnected from the community they cover, oblivious to the break ins and other security concerns. Thats just me venting. The last experience before I turned in my notice of 30 days was a discussion I went to the office for over my security cameras I installed. I had already had concerns about lease violation but considering the Kansas landlord tenant act felt I was within my rights. I was met with sharp and short responses to questions and concerns. Explained that my sudden security concerns were due to a break in to an apartment RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO US! I quote "" if you don't like it, you can put in your 30 days."" I looked at her in amazement since I myself had worked in apartment management and never ever thought to phrase and emote in the nasty manner the manager had just shown. I have had repeat issues in dealing with these people. I have witnessed biased and uninformed notification and the word ""tacky"" misused to many times to bare. I run an electronics repair company and will use them as examples of poor customer service and retention. I will recommend nobody to these apartments, not for the poor upkeep of the property but of management.
I will give credit to the hardworking and friendly maintenance. A more qualified property deserves their work ethic.
Side note- Was just discussing with my girlfriend, we concluded that after living in a previous poor maintained and mold riddled apartment; we'd actually rather deal with that then ever deal with these apartments again.
ADVICE: TAKE VIDEO OF YOUR APARTMENT, we've had stains rise in obvious places we've never had food or drink near.
Update: Was just taking pictures of the property to post for informative purposes when I was hostily confronted by one of the maintenance personnel. After just raving about their work ethic, I was physically threatened and had my character questioned as to calling me a drug dealer. Seems like someone needs to watch the people that are committing crimes here. This man walked within a foot of my face and said ""what are you gonna do?!"" while wearing company attire and on the clock. Called me a drug dealer loud enough to hear across all the parking lots. Pictures are attached, and best believe I have video of the maintenance man. DO NOT BE WON OVER BY THE LOOKS, the tangible and intangible quality of this location is awful.
