I took my 1 year old cat into the vet, because he had been limping. The doctor examined him, took x-rays, and discovered that his leg was broken. The doctor repaired his leg with a pin & cast. Edward is now doing fine. more

I took my dog “Zeus” into the vet for scratching and discovered that he had a spleenic tumor. The tumor was removed and now my dog is doing fine. more

I am taking my dog to Rainbow for a few years now. I or better said my dog always received excellent treatment. The vets and staff were always friendly, professional and very committed to the well being of my dog. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful about pet travel&documents for foreign countries which made my trips smooth and easy. No complains, recommended more

Wehn a stray we took in with no identification became more of a family member, we decided to take him to Rainbow since it was closer than our other dogs vet. They were very friendly, checked for a chip and gave him the necessary shots. As a dog who likes to roam, he recently was viciously attacked by other animal(s) and suffered sever lacerations in his hind legs and scrotum. Wrapped up in a blanket we took him to Rainbow. They could not have been more geniune with their care. He underwent surgery and they were able to guide us through the entire period of his recovery. It is not an easy time for anyone to see such animals suffer. Both my wife and I felt like all the staff at Rainbow was routing for this dogs recovery. And being extremely worried about every little thing, they were always open to a phone call or a quick visit to ask advice. From a financial standpoint, when they brought the bill, I almost felt like they were timid to disclose it. more

After I scheduled an appointment at Rainbow, I read reviews on what people thought of it. I was a bit nervous because people said it was a terrible place, but I was hoping it wouldn't. I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was nice, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I loved the place. Dr. Metzger was pretty nice, and I don't see why people say he's horrible more

I have been taking my felines to Rainbow for the past three years. I had to rush my flame point Siamese Mischief for a scratched cornea. On another occasion I had to take my cat Lucky in for a severe cold. They have also been helping my bengal Jynx copy with her asthma. I found their staff to be friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating. I was sad to see Dr. Weule retire however Dr. Metzger has performed an outstanding job with my pets. I am confident that even with the transition that Rainbow Vet will be continue to provide excellent care to my pets.? more

My little pup is accident prone. He always needs some kind of medical care because of something he ate or because he got injured. Dr. Weule and his staff are great with my little Kirby. I have been to other vets in the Valley for my other pets over the years, but have never had an outstanding and comforting experience until I went to Rainbow and met Dr. Weule and his staff. All the people there are very kind, caring and helpful with all my pets needs. more

For my money, and my beloved Tiggy, this vet is the best. Three years ago, Tiggy was a rescue kitten--someone I knew found her on the side of a local freeway. I took her to another, well-publicized Burbank vet and had a horrific experience. Vet #1 took a cursory look, and said that she "probably had the SARS virus" and direly predicted that she would have to be put to sleep!! Not willing to accept this off-the-cuff diagnosis, I took Tiggy to a VCA facility in West Los Angeles, where, after many $$$$ and some grueling (for such a young kitten) tests, she was given a clean bill of health. Then, I took Tiggy to Vetco (the Petco affiliate) for her spaying, but found them to be a rather assembly-line type of place, not to mention that they wouldn't be open at their posted hours. Not good for a working person like myself. A friend told me about Rainbow and Dr. Weule, and Tiggy has been a steady patient ever since. He's been especially good at diagnosing and treating her periodic skin allergies, as well as helping me with a behavior problem Tiggy had about a year ago. She suddenly began pooping on the bathroom rug, instead of in the nearby litter box. Dr. Weule correctly assessed that she was having a reaction to the pine litter, which has oils that might be irritating to her. I changed to the clumping sand variety, and the problem was solved. Tiggy is now a happy, healthy 3 year-old spoiled house-kitty (see her photo). And to that Vet #1 who wanted to doom her -- PFFFTTTT!! more

I have been a client for over 15 years, Dr. Weule has been an angel and saved my elderly pets life several times. He is always thorough and caring. When my beloved retriever died, he and his staff were so supportive and comforting. (my mother passed away about the same time) In the past I have worked for a number of Vets, and none measure up to Dr. Weule. I couldn't imagine using another doctor. He and his staff are the best!
