I've dined at Rainbow Lodge for both special occasions and business dinners, and I have to agree with the posters below who said that the restaurant is more suitable for the latter than the former. On a slow night, Rainbow Lodge has the potential to be romantic, but most nights, it is crowded and loud, and filled with underdressed conventioners and businessmen. A coat and tie rule wouldn't hurt here. The food is solid, with some interesting wild game choices and very good wines. Service is hit-or-miss, but generally friendly. The grounds are beautiful, though, especially in the spring.
