This is located in a mini mall underneath Pathmark. If you plan on doing a special project, the Rag Shop is the place for you. I go there to buy fabric to make costumes and clothes. They have a huge variety of fabrics and yarns that you can choose from. You can also find patterns for different outfits that you might like. This store has all your arts and crafts needs. The problem is that most of the items are very expensive. However, I imagine that at any arts and crafts stores the items are expensive. So this is probably normal. They do have weekly sales, so you might be able to find some bargains and discounts. But I have found that whatever is on sale is usually not what I need. I go here for special fabrics, glues, scrap book supplies, thread, etc and usually find them to be pricey. Still, they have a wide assortment of products, including yarn, flowers, painting supplies, anything artsy and craftsy all in one place. It's a nice neighborhood store, just a little pricey. Also, you can go grocery shopping afterwards because there's a Pathmark in the same building. more
