Wonderful Service!!! 10/21/2009

I loved working with the people at raffine! They made my decission on finding a dress so easy! They had the most beautiful selection of wedding gowns! I had done some looking before going there and didnt have much of an idea on what I wanted, but they helped me with everything! I ended up buying a dress and would recommend raffine to anyone! They also have tons of bridesmaids and tuxs, and I will be doing everything with them! The space is small but they have lots of dresses and have enough rooms to accomidate! EVERYONE SHOULD GO HERE!!!! Pros: Very Helpful, beautiful dresses, wide range of prices Cons: Small more

Very good experience 9/24/2009

I went to Raffine just last week to pick out my bridal gown. I thought they were very nice and helpful. I had no idea what I was looking for when I went in and ended up finding the most beautiful dress. I think they offered a wide range of price and variety. The store is small but it didnt feel cramped at all to me. I know she just said that they went through some remodeling. All in all I would def. recomend using them. more

POOR service!!! 4/24/2009

I came to this shop on a weekday wih an appointment made a week in advance. I was the only customer in the store and yet I was treated as though I was in the way. I was shocked to find out the person ""working"" with me was the owner. They had a beautiful collection of dresses, however there were not very many to choose from. There was little space and the one person I brought with me had no where to sit. My guest spent more time helping me in my dresses than the owner. While I liked some of their dresses, I would absolutely never buy from them. Pros: nice dresses Cons: Poor service, and by the owner no less more

Crowded, Poor Selection 2/8/2009

I went to Raffine Bridal to get another look at wedding gowns and was quite dissappointed with my experience. I did not have an appointment and was ignored when I went there. The lady was helping another bride and told me to look around and pick out some styles I liked. I looked around for 20 minutes and liked one dress. I was ready to try on the dress and was ignored again because the lady was on the phone. I finally got fed up and left. I felt like the space was really cramped and all the dresses looked the same. If I had the choice to go there again, I would probably skip it. I was not impressed. Pros: I got to shop other stores in Stillwater Cons: Limited Selection, No help more

Wonderful service, Beautiful selection, quaint bridal shoppe. I will buy my dress here. 1/16/2009

I absolutely adore Raffine. I have been shopping there since high school, for prom. Their selection of bridal gowns is exceptionally gorgeous, including my favorite designer Jim Hjelm. Their prices are reasonable and their space is small, but quaint. Very elegant. Their staff is helpful, respectful, and quite lovely. The last time I went, I was with my mother. We are planning my wedding, as I have been dating my boyfriend for quite a while and we decided to get a jump-start determining my favorite styles and shoppes. Even though I was not trying anything on or buying a dress, they offered to let me try things on and asked me questions about my dream dress and wedding. The woman showed me dresses that matched my description perfectly. It was a lovely small-town bridal shoppe with an elegant feel and wonderful service. Highly recommended and I will definitely buy my dress from this store, when I finally get that ring on my finger. Pros: Great staff, lovely ambiance, exceptional selection. I will buy here. Cons: None. more

Cramped space, Snobby staff 1/6/2009

Cramped and small, definitely not a bride's dream. OK selection but the employee there was a SNOB and not very interested in helping me. Made me feel like I was keeping her from something more important. I left there feeling pretty crummy, will NOT be purchasing my gown at Raffine. Pros: Decent Selection Cons: Cramped space, inattentive and snobby staff more

the perfect place to buy my wedding gown! 12/30/2008

I went to Raffine in December 2008, and it was my first time trying on wedding gowns (and ended up being the last!). I really wanted to try on some Jim Hjelm gowns and this was the only place in MN that carried the line. We made an appointment and let Darcy (one of the owners) know what style and designers I was interested in beforehand, she was very responsive through email. She greeted us when we came in and took me right to my dressing room. Very cute and small store, but everything was right out in the open. It was very easy to find everything and she took all the dresses off the model's even in the front window. She helped with anything we needed, but let us be if we didn't need help. It was the perfect experience and my mother ended up finding the dress that ended up being the one (a Jim Hjelm of course). I wanted my mother and bridesmaid to be able to pick some dresses out that they liked and this store allowed that to happend very easily. I couldn't have asked for a better place, would recommend this shop to anyone. Pros: everything out in the open, helpfull people, selection, price Cons: small space more

good experience and I looked around before 12/7/2008

I had went to many other bridal stores in the Twin Cities area including Macy's and the Wedding Shoppe, both were good. I also went to Rush's -not impressed, Bella Bridal- ok, knowledgable when you talk to the owner, the Dress Shop in Stillwater, very good, the big wedding store in Rochester, not very good which tell you something since I can't even remember the name, but Raffine was very helpful. Yes, it's a small store so I recommend making an appt during the week. They had nice dresses there and were helpful. It was spendy, but I got the dress I liked which is what mattered. more

Ignored, overpriced 11/5/2008

I was there on a Saturday afternoon. The shop wasn't busy at all. My mom and I picked out everydress i tried and barely even saw anyone who worked there. For a store that all the dresses were very expensive they had very poor customer service. I didn't quite see the point for making an appt. a week in advance to get completely ignored. Big waste of time, I wouldn't spend a penny there. Pros: Decent selection Cons: Overpriced, bad service, crowded, even with no other shoppers more

Over Priced with Limited Help 9/27/2008

I found the selection to be mediocre and there service to be just o.k.. I could tell that the ladies there were not enthused to be working there. They sales lady showed me how the dresses were arranged and I just looked around at a couple of dresses and left.I did not see anything that I was dying to try on. I could tell that this was not where I wanted to purchase my dress from. They had a really limited selection and it was not my style. Cons: Limited Selection, Expensive more

Nice gowns, but little crowded shop 9/10/2008

I went to Raffine with my friend to shop for her wedding dress. We were there on a busy Saturday so we were put in the small dressing rooms in the back. The store only has one big dressing room with the large mirror next to it and then 3 tiny rooms in the back. The store has a lot of nice dresses but it is very small and crowded. Its hard to move around the clothing racks that are overstuffed with dresses. The dresses are not displayed in an elegant manner. They are hard to pull out to look at. The bridesmaid dress area is a mess. There are hundreds of dresses crammed onto 5 racks. Its messy and unorganized. My friend did not end up buying a dress at Raffine. We did not stay long because my friend wanted to be in a place with a more wide-open display of their gowns. Pros: Nice dresses Cons: Small and crowded more

FABULOUS 3/1/2008

Raffine was by far my favorite wedding shop in the Twin Cities area. I not only loved their amazing customer service, but their quality and selection of dresses was to die for! The two sisters that own this adorable little shop have wonderful taste. I ended up trying on almost every dress in the shop because they were all so beautiful. The owners were also there everytime I was in the shop and they were so helpful to me in my quest for the perfect dress. They knew how to give me space as my mom and I went through all of the dresses, but at the same time they were right there if I needed help! This shop made my wedding dress experience one I will always remember. I highly recommend this adorable shop if you are looking for a sophisticated dress! Loved it! more

EXCELLENT! 11/19/2007

My mom and I took two days off of work to search pretty much every bridal shop in the Twin Cities for my dream dress. I was looking for a classy, simple dress- I don't like a lot of lace or beading. Turns out, simple dresses in my price range (under $1000) are not easy to find. Raffine has less dresses than some shops, but they carry more dresses in my 'style' than any other shop I visited (and I looked at about 15 shops). The dress I ended up buying from them was $250 cheaper than the same dress at a shop I went to in Roseville. I thought Raffine's customer service was great- they were very friendly and gave my mom and me a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this beautiful shop! more

Terrible Experience at Raffine 10/10/2006

I must say that I shopped several stores in the Twin Cities when looking for a bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses. I had such a terrible experience at this store that I wanted to tell other brides about it. I thought Raffine's customer service was mediocre and there seleciton was limited. They did not show me any of the dress styles I was interested in and kept giving me dresses I didn't like AT ALL!! If they didnt have the stylesI was looking for, I wish they would have not wasted my time. I would not reccommend this store to future brides. Cons: Snotty Staff, Limited Selection, Overpriced more
