We were here for the LA Times Festival of Books, April 20 & 21, and first needed a long parking area that was satisfied perfectly by the attendant. Next the reception clerk, Martha Navarro, checked us in and was one of the very professional and courteous. She not only upgraded us to a suite, but took interest in us the next day too when we had the need for water, directions, etc. to where I thought maybe she was the hotel manager (she should be). The room was nice and clean, with exception to the shower. The grout in the shower was starting to grow a little mold which should be a daily maintenance item. Towels were nice and soft, bed was comfortable, and they had free wi-fi. The only concern was on Friday night, when the noise level in the hallway was a bit too loud, but that only lasted 1/2 hour or so. All in all we were so pleased because of Martha's service we stayed an extra night to relax and drive home in the morning instead of on Sunday night. \r
