Lately I've been having horrible luck ordering electronics online. Something is always broken out of the box. So when it came time to buy a new phone and switch carriers I decided to spend a little more and buy locally.
I'm glad I did because the phone had an echo problem that wasn't obvious during the short test call after activation. I called RadioShack's FREE lifetime support hotline (another perk I wasn't aware of) and when the troubleshooting failed to correct the problem I was told to bring the phone back to the store.
This is when I was amazed. I explained the problem and what I had done to attempt to fix it. Before I could finish the Manager was bringing a new phone from the shelf. 15 minutes later I was thanking them profusely and walking out of the store with a new phone and professionally installed screen protector.
While I was waiting for the phone to be activated I listened to them helping other customers. Everyone is very knowledgeable and experienced. There was also no hard sell for accessories like I've experienced at other RadioShack stores in other cities.
I can't say enough good things about this store and everyone who helped me.
