Rachetti's Ristorante

A review of this dump really doesn't matter anymore but I thought I would make my mark about how horrible this place was from the time it opened till the time it closed. Word is the owner Dave is looking to open another dump and serve the same fecal matter food. Any positive review of Rachetti's was a calculating attempt by the owner to drum up business. If Dave wasn't written fake reviews, then his man wife or his fifteen yr old girlfriends/boyfriends were.\r \r Unfortunatlly I have a friend who works/worked for Rachetti's. All the food served was out of date. Mold was present on alot of the food. Employees were encouraged to scape mold or any unpleasant spoildage off food. After awhile it got to be an inside joke to Dave. He would get pleasure in knowing customers were eating rancid food. He would watch from a far and laugh while customers ate. Dave would tell everyone...""Can you believe they ate that?"" and just laugh.\r \r Dave Rachetti is the most sickest, swisted and socialpathical person I ever met. He should be in jail. He has flipped out on a number of occations at the resturant. Some say it's because he looks like Bart Simpson. Dave is yellow and short and looks like a Simpson. He also has a Norman Bates persona. At night, he dresses up in his mothers clothing and talks in her voice. Dave is so uncomfortable about his height, he is constantly asking people to measure him. Dave would say... ""Hey, I think I might be growing. I'm taller than my last measure"". No Dave, you haven't grown. You are and always will be ""Mr. Short Stacks"". more

I have read the other reviews posted in the past several months and I strongly disagree with the negative things said about this restaurant. SERVICE IMPROVED: GREAT SERVICE I have eaten at Rachetti's since February and I love it! I eat from there at least four times a week and I have NEVER been sick or had bad food. I understand the complaints about the service being slow several months ago. At that time they were a new restaurant and working out kinks and getting used to high volumes of service with little help. Since then the service has improved greatly. They have really come a long way in that aspect. Also, a popular item ordered is the Chicago Style Deep Dish which can take up to 45 minutes to cook. That may also be why there are complaints of the service being slow. In my experience, the servers are all very down-to-earth, polite and try their best to fulfill the customer's needs. As far as the servers being rude, I can say that is totally false. I have never been in a more friendly restaurant! Everyone is so friendly and it's a great place to take your family! FABULOUS FOOD The food at Rachetti's is the best quality in the area. Not only are you getting fresh, hand made, delicious, fabulous food, but the prices are excellent! The quality of the food is better than Chili's, Johnny Carino's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, or any other restaurant in the area. They have a huge selection of food to choose from. The Italian Roast Beef Sandwich is an excellent item and is nothing like previously described in the previous post. They not only serve pizza, pasta and Italian dishes, but also AWESOME steaks, sandwiches, salads, bacon wrapped shrimp, burgers, and so much more. As far as the prices are concerned, you're getting amazing FRESH food for the same amount you would pay at Domino's or Sonic. GREAT HANG OUT With the fabulous food, great service and nice set up, Rachetti's is a great place to bring your friends and family to hang out. They have a full bar, 100"" projection TV, flat screens all over the bar area, a separate smoke room with pool table and lounge area, and karaoke on the weekends. It's a place where you can go that is drama free and it definitely isn't your typical bar or restaurant. The family friendly atmosphere is definitely a big part of this business. No matter what time of night, you can have your kids in the bar or restaurant and not feel like a bad parent. In fact, I have seen family's check in to the hotel late on the weekends, come in to the full bar with their kids and have dinner. Not only that but their kids will get on the mike and sing karaoke. There is no shame in this place. There is no rift-raft or crazy behavior and your whole family can comfortably be there and enjoy their self no matter what time or what day. THE BOTTOM LINE Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed! People are using them for catering, weddings, and everything in between. we went to dinner 05/08/10 (last night) and we got there at 7:45. we didn't get our food until 9:15. the roast beef sandwich we ordered was spoiled (disgusting!) the waitresses couldn't find a manager. our waitress told us that 3 other people had compained about that sandwich. later that night, EVERYONE was sick! i won't go into details, but it wasn't pretty. as of now we're still sick. i went up there to find a manager earlier, he was very rude, and said there was nothing he could do. i left, and we called back a little while later, he got very very mad, was VERY rude and told us his name was DAVE and ""we could come talk to him"" then he hung up on us!!! really?? NEVER EAT THERE!!!! i've heard about alot of people getting sick at this resturaunt... Pros: nothing!! Cons: rude manager, food poisoning, spoiled food..ect more

\r \r Do not waste your time or money!\r \r Service is HORRIBLE with food to match.\r \r We ordered an appetizer waited 30 min. nothing, ask what the hold up was, another waitress said that we had discussed the appetizer with the other waitress but did not actually order it,\r \r Our original waitress never came back, we had to flag down another one, and even she was rude, insisting we did not actually order it, we said forget it, went to another restraint and came back later to their bar because they are located in the hotel we were staying at.\r \r My son in law ordered the exact same appetizer to surprise me since I had really wanted to try it, it sounded sooo good, WRONG!\r \r We could not eat it , it was the bruacheta flat bread and the cheese was very pungent and sour! .\r \r The next night my daughter ordered a pizza for delivery to the hotel from a local restaurant, when she came to get her husband at the bar, Dave one of the owners of the Restaurant went NUTS!\r \r CURSING AND SCREAMING AT HER OVER A KARAOKE MICROPHONE!
