very good devils food cake and coffe cake 5/31/2009

the devils food cake is so moist. My husband has been coming to this place for ~20yrs. The coffee cake is good too, but a little too much crumbs on top -- the crumbs are as high as the cake. It would be great of less crumbs and more cake. The cake part of the coffee cake is incredibly delicious! Rachel's got a really good special recipe! Pros: fresh bakery goods Cons: long line more

Best Crumb Cake Ever 8/1/2005

Every summer I look forward to my trip out to Fire Island and my mouth waters when I think of the unbelievable crumb cake at Rachels! A trip to Ocean Beach is not complete without it! more
