Paul Riley, Jr. is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I am filing a compliant with the Better BB of Ventura County. If you need details and specifics, you can read the details there. Basically, I took my bike in for service and it was in the shop for six weeks...and the work that I requested was not done and his ""work around"" (which was done the night before) was shotty and un-reliable. I gave him a deadline date of Sept. 4, 2009. because the next day was track day. I had to pick up the bike at 10:30pm at night! He gave excuses that his shop was broken into and my ignition lock part was stolen and his supplier gave him the wrong part. Beware, he'll give you some excuse and try to dazzle you with his ""great problem solving skills"" on a work around. It's no subsitute to the OEM parts. How complicated is the work to replace an ignition lock when I've given him six weeks? Again, follow up with the Better BB on this shop. \r
This is a repeative pattern of missing deadlines. For my first 500-mile service, my bike was at his shop for two weeks. When I crashed and had an insurace claim, it took two months (again, he said the parts that were sent were wrong (the wrong model year), and he didn't reference the insurance claim number on the estimate adding to the delay. Now, when I needed work, he blew it! Sometimes convenient does not always pay. I don't mind taking my bike to be worked on somewhere in SFV, where the market is competitive and there are businesses wanting to have and keep your business. I was a good customer of PJ's, but HE DID ME WRONG!!!!\r
Pros: Distance (close to my house)
Cons: Unprofessional; Untimely; work is unreliable
