I called for an electrician around 10 AM. Around 4 hours later, the electrician arrived. Very fast service. The electrician was very business like but also very personable, and very knowledgeable. He fixed my electric problems in no time. When I need electric work done in the future this is the place I'll call. Thanks for a job well done. more

Low Quality Products 5/17/2011

Today we had ANOTHER pipe that was installed by Rabe Hardware burst in our walls. This is now the second time that we've had a pipe erupt causing hundreds of dollars in damage. In addition to having to replace their low quality plumbing hardware we now have to repair drywall and electrical wiring. I suppose we're lucky to have caught it before having to replace the carpet too. Based on our own personal experience, I do NOT recommend using this company for anything. more

Dependable Local Heating Contractor 3/25/2011

Being new in the area, we did not know who to call when our furnace went out last night. We used heaters from our RV to get us thru the night. We heard positive info about this contractor from coworkers. So glad we called them as they came out immediately. Beside being punctual, they were courteous. We also felt they were very honest and did not overcharge. We will use them again. Very happy and satisfied that we found Rabe's....their correct address is 317 Locust St NW according to their invoice statement. Thank you Rabe's. more

Poor work 12/7/2010

Rabes is not reliable. We had them come out and do a check of our house to make sure everything was in working order for the winter. We mentioned that there was something wrong with our pilot light on the fireplace and we wanted to make sure our geothermal was ready to be used. Rabes sent someone who didnt know what they were doing and did not fix anything but had no problem charging 300 dollars. A week later our geothermal wouldnt work and we were told they will get there as soon as they can. While they were there the second time they filled the geothermal with freon, found a leaky valve, and fixed our pilot light. We have had nothing but problems for the eight years we have worked with Rabe's. I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone! more

Not Reliable 2/9/2010

When our furnace broke down on the weekend (Sunday morning), his response was ""Your house won't get that cold before Monday"". It was the middle of January. We called someone else in the area who proved to be much more reliable. Cons: Doesn't like working weekends more
