We visited Ryan's Buffet in Pineville, LA on April 20, 2013. This restaurant does nothing for families with children. We did not use the wooden high chairs for our 2 children because they were not clean; the back of our chairs were sticky, as well. Our shoes seem to stick to the filthy carpeting! The changing station in the ladies restroom was disgusting and I didn't put our 15 month old daughter on it - I bet it has never been cleaned. The buffet does not contain any kid-specific food selections or activities of any kind for children. The manager was happy to tell us not to stop by again if we didn't like the restaurant. more

No longer Ryan's 5/18/2006

This restaurant is no longer Ryan's. It is now Fire Mountain! It offers pretty much the same fare as Ryan's and it is buffet style. They have a grill line where you can get fresh grilled steak, sausage, pork, zuchinni, squash, & sweet potatoe slices. I find the steaks to be good and my husband, being a vegetable lover, like to feast on the vegetable island. The fresh baked rolls are a plus. We have had some very poor service here at times but you get that almost everywhere you go, one time or another. more
